The bed, they really need to get something. To put you're clothes in. There's no closet. There's no drawers, All your stuff had to stand in the bag until you used it.

Rooms have been remodeled, but as others have noted, there could be a towel bar in the sink area and the hook at the top of the bathroom door is useless for shorter people. It was fine for what we needed.

Let me start by saying that this motel was under a MAJOR remodel ! Rooms were being totally gutted with new fixtures, flooring, furniture and bathrooms being upgraded. During our stay (12-29-23) one of the two wings was finished. With that said ; Staff was AMAZING with answers/advice on the area. The finished rooms were clean and comfortable. The area was quiet and peaceful so a good nights rest was achieved. Parking was slightly congested due to storage containers, dumpsters and equipment sharing the parking lot with guests. Overall . . . We would stay here again , hopefully when everything is completed.

A cheap, but clean place to stop.
The place was under a major renovations. The section being used still looks old but we were pleasantly surprised by the interior renovations! The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The attached Mexican Restaurant was a nice surprise.

We have stayed here many times now as it's a perfect half way stop on our regular trips from Florida to New Hampshire. We can see the improvements each time we stay, much renovation is taking place and they are working to better the property. Our room was clean, updated and comfortable for our one night stay. We'll be back in 2 weeks!

I stayed here last year and decided to stay again this year. They look like they have updated some more things but not just right. The soap dish was way too small for the space in the large shower area. I could barely put my soap dish on top of it. The hook on the back of the bathroom door was at the top of the door. For those who are height challenged, this can be an issue. Then there was not a hand towel rack by the sink, since the sink is outside of the toilet area. So if someone is in the shower/toliet area and you want to wash and dry your hands, there are no towels there. Overall, it was still a nice stay but those small changes will make it better. Breakfast still had some good options. Breakfast biscuits with and without meat, oatmeal, cereal, assorted pastries, yogurt, coffee and juices. The staff were nice and friendly.

Overview
The Days Inn, Emporia, is undergoing a remodel so the exterior has construction things in the parking lot. At check in the Desk Clerk took an extensive amount of time with the two parties that were ahead of me because she was having to use both front desk computers and an issue with the credit card reader. I was in the lobby over 20 minutes before I was checked in.

We had stayed at this hotel previously and were not impressed. What a surprise this time around since the place has been completed renovated and upgraded. Excellent facility condition and very good customer service.
