“Argh”
Several aggravations from the hotel: (1) I fully paid for the hotel stay on Expedia.com so didn't expect the secondary $190 hold on my debit card. When I called them to inquire and they clarified the second charge would clear after a week I suggested they make it a policy to notify the guest of such policies. I could have used a credit card instead of a debit to avoid the hold on my cash. (2) I added the breakfast buffet option when booking our reservation for five people so when I arrive to check-in I expected to receive five buffet tickets but was instead only handed two and an unsympathetic, "the add-on is only for two people." The breakfast buffet add-on was actually less than what the buffet costs if one pays for it at the hotel. Additionally, the buffet was quite lackluster so you may do better by ordering off the menu or eating elsewhere altogether. (3) The whirlpool was absolutely disgusting! It didn't have an 'out of service' sign so many people didn't notice its filth until they were sitting in it. So gross! The plus side is that this hotel is relatively close to Six Flags New England.
“Nice hotel, but needs improvement”
The front desk staff was fantastic, very professional, and happy to help out. The atmosphere of the hotel is rather nice, and our room was very clean. However, we had two big problems within the hotel. The indoor swimming pool was not heated, watched a lot of families put their small children in the pool and remove them within minutes because the kids started to cry when they got in the water (yes, it was that cold). What's the point of an indoor swimming pool, if it's too cold to swim in. Additionally, there was construction in process all around the pool area, and the hot tub was out of service. Our restaurant experience was horrible too. We sat down at 5 pm when it opened. Server was new, and should have been job shadowing an experienced server - she wasn't up to speed, and passed blame on the chef more than once. By 5:30, only my youngest daughter's meal had been served. By 5:45, I got my sandwich, and at 6 pm, 3 of our family members were still without their food. We got fed up at this point, and asked for the manager. We were again waiting. The manager didn't come. The waitress said he was busy and he'd be out when he was done. We got up and went to the front desk where they immediately made sure we would not be charged. The man was even concerned about getting the rest of my family fed, although we told him we were just going to hit up McDonalds. Hotel staff was awesome. Restaurant needs improvement. Assume pool will be better experience once construction complete???
“Excellent place to stay - we'll go back again!”
An uneventful but very pleasant comfortable overnight stay. No complaints.
“Disappointed”
Being directly off the main interstate this hotel had a great location with easy access. The staff at the front desk was cordial at best, but not very friendly or helpful. If they would have been busy I could have been more understanding about their attitude; however, no other guest were at the counter when I arrived and they did not appear to be busy at all.

“Visit Massachusetts, but stayed in CT”
For such a "fancy" high end place, I was shocked that there was a charge for internet use. Most places offer it free. Aside from that, the stay was grest.
“Average at best”
Although all items were eventually fixed, when you are staying in a hotel for less than 24 hrs, you are looking for rest, not more work. They weren't prepared at check in...they charged the room to the wrong person...we were put in the wrong size room...they weren't organized for check out. The morning crew was much more cordial than the night crew which was appreciated.

East Longmeadow High School 35th Reunion Columbus Day Weekend. Fall colors are beautiful this trip.
“Average”
Needs a little more care in the guest rooms. Comfortable, but a little run down. Pool was great though. It advertised as being VERY close to Six Flags New England, but was only moderately close. Bad area for restaurants.
“Will stay again”
This hotel was a big step up from where we stayed last year. Our daughter has competed in a cheer competition two years in a row at Six Flags. Will defintely use this hotel next year and will look into group rates for the rest of the cheer team.
