Nice, good location and kept clean

Posted Sep 26, 2014
well. dont book same day. Fax machine doesn't work (expedia sent fax, but never received because "doesn't print' and then they sent email but "no password" so to say it was a headache to check in was an understatement. but at the end, good place and I have stayed here before.

Very Nice

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: staff, quality and price
Cons: They could offer a better selection of coffee in the lobby, the cups were kiddie size
Location: Location was great, right off of Interstate 91 and close to over 20 restaurants
The room exceeded my expectations in every way, the staff was great

Great location

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Cons: The air conditioner in our room did not work right so the air temperature was never comfortable. Take more pride in the bedspreads and iron them.
This is a no frills hotel. It was clean, mattresses were adequate but bedspreads were all wrinkled and that gave it a shabby look. The new flat screen TV was a pleasant surprise. Coffee in the check in area was convenient. The workers were all very congenial. It was a good value for the price and close to shopping areas and resturants.

Okay for one night

The rooms are very small, but comfortable. I was a little disappointed in the fact that there was no continental breakfast or even a coffee pot in the room!!!

Nice hotel for a decent price.

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Great place to crash for the night.
Cons: The room service people could be a little more courteous... The ones we dealt with were borderline rude.
Location: Really close to Six Flags... That's why we picked it.
The rooms were nice & clean, and the beds were comfortable...

Inexpensive hotel if you're in town to see sites

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Basic room with microwave and fridge. No coffee pot. Beds have older mattresses which sag immensely. Temperature control difficult in room. All or none as far as A/C. Lamp missing light bulb. Phone didn't work. Front desk unable to rectify.

Handicapped room that could have been cleaner

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Cons: Cleanliness, better bedding, clean floors. Comfortable chair with lamp.
Location: Shopping centers close by this location.
We had a handicap room. We did not request one. We found dirt spots on sheets, some hairs and the floors were dirty. There was a tv, mini fridge and microwave provided but not a comfortable chair to sit on (just a small desk chair). The weather stripping around door was partially missing at floor level. The faucets hot and cold were released on the sink. A little more effort would have made our stay better.

Clean and comfortable

Good value, except the mattress was on the too soft side, did not result in the best sleep.

Urine Smell

Posted Aug 2, 2014
We booked through Expedia. When we entered our room, we were hit with a very strong smell of urine. We hoped it wasn't urine and kept the door open and AC running, thinking the smell would leave. It didn't. There was no doubt, someone had recently peed somewhere in the room. The room had just been cleaned so we were surprised the cleaners didn't notice and inform hotel staff. In the end, we asked to switch rooms. The staff were friendly, however, all their discounted "Expedia" rooms were taken so we had to pay $7 to switch to another room. It's not a lot of money, but it seems ridiculous to have to pay when the urine smell was beyond our control. The new room was nice and clean. Overall, hotel staff were warm and friendly. I wouldn't go back though, because of the urine smell experience.
