Stayed for just one night. Room number 1 has lovely curved wall of windows which was really nice. Spotlessly clean and staff very friendly and keen to help. Free parking just up the road was great. Nice meal and portions were huge. Only not 5* because room decoration was not perfect - but for the price we paid we couldn't have asked for more.

The hotel is very well located. The breakfast is superb. The staff is friendly. But...
I could see that some rooms have been refurbished but a shame that the renovation was limited to a part of the hotel.
Obviously the stairs carpet would need to be changed, mattresses in rooms to be changed...
The hotel has a huge potential and needs someone to take care of it.

Hotel rooms, on the floors above a busy Public House, were large and very comfortably furnished including extra electric convector heater. Happy to return after my evening meal in the nearby town centre, to watch the TV.

The Riviera comprises three main towns: Torquay is the most fashionable and popular with a luxury marina, good beaches, and family attractions including a famous Model Village and the Kent’s Cavern. Paignton is a more traditional English resort, boasting a superb zoo. Brixham is not only a picturesque fishing harbour but one of Britain's busiest fishing ports. The adjacent area, the South Hams, is known as one of the prettiest in England.
