“WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER STAYED, WILL NEVER COME BACK”

Dirty room, old furniture, NO hot water, noisy street, horrible conditions all around, this place is the worst hotel we have ever stayed. And we travel the world... I can't believe I took my family to this place. I wonder who is nuts to give it 3 stars... makes me thing whether the rating agency is serious... Don't fall into this trap! I had to cancell my stay on the first night because we couldn't stand its conditions (or lack thereof). The ONLY good thing is the personell, all nice people, but there is not much they can do considering the dumpy building.

Area recommendations

In Ensenada, try the hotels north of the city, like the Coral Marina or the Las Rosas, much better quality, location and structure.

“Traveling Fisherman”

A great place to stop on my way back from fishing in Baja. The hotel has underground parking with security, a nice bar to relax in, and a very good resturant. Andy, the new owner, is an American aiming to please his customers.

“Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life.”

This was a nightmare. The carpet was so filthy that we did not take of our shoes. the place has never been disinfected or cleaners used with any power. The pillows smelled of urine and sex. The ac was disabled and the tub was also black with stain. This place could of had a twenty five dollar price tag and still would not be okay. The walls were so thin that all night you heard noises and fighting tvs blarring.

Area recommendations

When in this kind of area i suggest getting a recommendation from a club such as aaa.

“I never will be back”

I go to Ensenada frequently but I wont come back to that hotel . I have a really bad experience. I couldn't sleep. The room was bad. The blankets the bathroon everything.

An extensive renovation and new construction project from the ground-up; new tiled pool deck surface, refinishing of the pools interior, the construction of a poolside bar and swim-up pool bar, newly constructed triple level jacuzzi plunge, waterfalls, tropical landscaping, and all new pool furniture.

“CHECK IN WAS TILL 3PM, RECEPTIONIST WAS RUDE AND SLOW, BELLBOY WAS REALLY NICE”

WE HAD TO RUSH TO GET READY BECAUSE THEY LET US CHECK IN UNTIL 3PM AND WE HAD TO BE AT A CHURCH CEREMONY AT 4:30PM. RECEPTIONIST WAS SLOW, IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO CHECK IN. tHE BELL BOY WAS REALLY NICE, HE WAS REALLY FRIENDLY AND ALL MY FAMILY WAS HAPPY WITH THE WAY HE WORKED.

Our Check-out time is 12 noon and Check-in time is 3pm which is stated online and standard throughout the hotel industry. Whenever possible, we will grant early check-in request between 12 noon and 3pm, but during busy periods it may not be possible due to the time needed to clean and prepare the rooms from the previous night stays. If any guest needs an early check-in, please call ahead with sufficient notice and we will do everything possible to accommodate fulfill their request.

“The Carpet Turned Our Feet Black!!!”

The hotel carpet turned our feet black. The people were very nice. The beds were very hard. A roach came to greet us, crawling out of the drawer beneath the TV. I think that pretty much says it all about this place. I wouldn't recommend you stay there unless you are immune to the nastiness, which I'm sure some are. I'm not.

While your travelling in Mexico take some time to tour a few hotels as you pass by them. You WILL NOT get the truth online. I keep getting nasty hotels, but I keep trusting pictures and reviews online. Of course they're going to show you the best of what they got.

“awful,disgusting,do not book this hotel”

This hotel was awful.The pool was brown ,The jacuzzi was empty.The room was dirty.the furniture looked like they got it at a garage sale.The terrace overlooked a vacant lot that was full of trash and weeds.

“good place to stay in Ensenada”

nice, clean hotel withing easy walking distance from the marina. nice bar, didn't try the restaurant. Beds were a little firm but ok.

“Everything you'd need at a reasonable Rate Close to Downtown”

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights for the Rosarito Ensenada 30th Annual Fun Ride during April of 2009. The hotel was relatively clean, comfortable, and conveniently close to the downtown area. The shower was probably the weakest element of the room in terms of attractiveness. Cable service has english channels as well as spanish ones. The view from the third floor towards the coast was unimpressive, but pleasant enough. All in all, given the reasonable rates and cheery service, it's recommended.

Traveler's tip

At the end of the Rosarito Ensenada ride, take your bikes back to the garage and your vehicle, get cleaned up, and head back out to the celebration at the finish line. You'll be amazed how close the hotel is to the downtown area.
