Nice facilities, room and matress need help.Posted Jul 25, 2015
We stayed here 4 days, location is 30 mins away from the main hotel area in downtown Ensenada and 45 mins from La Bufadora. Located in a very nice secluded area away from the main boulevard. Facilities, landscape, a/c are great. We enjoyed the jet sky activity for $70 per hour, there is also horse, camel riding, paddle boarding, canoe, and a water jet pack. The great thing about this hotel is that the sea ends on their beautiful lagoon making it a perfect scene. Water inside the room is salty, shower and bath sink however they do give you a few water bottle daily to offset the "salty" tooth brushing experience. Nice safe area with local security and nice staff. I'm planning to come back next year!

Nice location, bad experiencePosted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Jet ski rental was easy access, and were very helpful, and everyone enjoyed.
Cons: Invest in room maintenance, and keep inventory for restaurant and store in stock.
Location: If you want to relax by the pool this is a great location, if you are ready for more livelier action, pick another hotel as this is far away
We rented a total of 6 rooms, AC didn't work in one of the rooms, called the front desk and they said that they had informed us at checkin, I went to speak with them and they confirmed that they didn't tell us this, but there was nothing they could do except give a fan? Reserved a table for 22 in the restaurant, they weren't prepared with staff to accommodate, we ordered 6 fillets, but they only had 4, tried to order shrimp, they had none, tried to order pizza it wasn't available, a martini, they were out...etc. Eventually, we had to ask the server what food is available that you can provide, terrible experience! Worst hotel experience ever, I have filled out surveys before on trips with Expedia and have always recommended, this would be a definite NO! Stopped by their "store", had a few diet cokes and squirt, were out of everything else. Also, if you need WIFI do NOT rent this hotel, it doesn't work, I had to just put on data roaming to access email, etc...

Prison On The BeachPosted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: boat ramp, pool and Jaccuzi
Cons: Front guard shack guy needs some customer service skills. Jetski payment upfront is a mood killer. Could have paid at reception.
Location: Went to bronco's for breakfast heard the food at the resort was not good so we skipped the brunch.
Upon approaching the guard shack the guy said it's $100.00 for the jetskis you can pay here. I asked that we had reservations and guest did we still have to pay? Yes, he implied. Ok, no problem I took out enough money at the atm just was surprised at how rude this guy was (short guy with glasses). Got on his walkie talkie to let someone know i paid. Went to check in (reception) got my 6 keys for our 3 rooms (no problem), ladies were nice and cute. Next guard shack entering the parking asked if I paid the boat ramp, told him yes and that $100 was pricey to have a talk with Mgmt. More walkie talkie guys outside the building were the rooms were. Rooms were a little old looking but clean, I wasn't going to spend much time but sleep in them. Went to the pool, more walkie talkie guys...that prison feeling.

Relaxing stay with a great view of the bay!Posted Jun 29, 2015
We enjoyed our 4 night stay as the resort was inviting and provided somewhat of a serene ambiance. Wifi was spotty and it is important to plan ahead for meals if you are not interested in the restaurant on site since the resort is somewhat secluded (something we liked). Estero Beach Resort is about 5-10 minutes away from downtown Ensenada but this was perfect for us as we were in search for adventure! We visited a fantastic park/campground called Las Canadas- only 20 minutes from Estero Beach. Our kids had a blast as they offered zip lining, ATVs, fishing, several pools and much more in a super clean and safe park! Also drove out to the vineyards in Guadalupe- about a 40 minute drive- great experience! I think Estero Beach is our new spot when visit Ensenada.

Clean and safe place to stay in EnsenadaPosted Jun 20, 2015
We were looking for a family friendly beach hotel for three nights while we visited Valle De Guadalupe. The location is 10 minute drive from the malecon and about 25 min away from the wineries. Comfortable beds, great restatraunt with sushi bar.
