You are making me to change my opinion about the accuracy of information on your web site by recommending this hotel and claiming it as an "airport location". It did cost me close to $80 for transportation to and from the hotel. The room was located in the attic. I never notice a smile from anyone in the lobby while waiting for the room from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Too far from the airport to be called an airport
Posted Jan 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
It was not a memorable stay, but adequate. It was too far from the hotel to be called an airport hotel. The service in the downstairs restaurant was outstanding. Very efficient, capable and friendly waitress in a busy dining room.

A Noisy Stay
Posted Jan 5, 2012
Pros: Decent breakfast for 15 Euros each
Cons: The noise
Location: Very handy for Therme Erding
Not at the airport-a 20 minute taxi ride away. Handy for Therme Erding (the reason we went - it is a 10 minute walk away). A basic hotel room, tiny bathroom, no coffee facilities or air con in the room. Very noisy at night-music, shouting, children running and this continued every night right up until the early hours of the morning. It worked as a base for Therme Erding but otherwise, I wouldnt stay here. It might work out cheaper to look at this hotel's (and other hotels in Erding) packages which include breakfast and day passes for the Therme. Not sure we'd use this hotel again. We both got a taxi from the airport to the hotel and was about 32 euros for the journey. The return journey, you have to take the hotels own transfer transport which was charged at 28 euros per person to the airport. We arrived at the hotel several hours early (tired from all the travelling and in need to a sit down and a drink) to then be told we would be charged 25 euros to check in early.

day staff unhelpful
Posted Jan 15, 2011 on Hotels.com
The room was clean, but the beds were set up along a wall - head to foot. Checked in early afternoon, but when asked for different room due to eaves making it impossible to walk around half of the room, was told all rooms were already occupied. Asked about computer use - wasn't told until I tried to access the computer that I needed an access code. Pretty much an attitude totally different from what we had experienced during the rest of our trip - totally unhelpful and unfriendly. The night staff was completely different - did all they could to help me access computer to print boarding passes. But, printer was out of ink and there were no replacement cartridges available. Just not a good experience.

Munich Hotel
Posted Jan 9, 2011 on Hotels.com
This hotel is in Erding, which is approx 45 minutes from the center of munich. You need to take the train into town at a cost of 19.60euros for up to 5 people per day. This is what you would expect form a 3 star hotel. Clean room, and a toilet and shower. Ther was 3 single beds in our room which was strange. The ceiling also sloped down to one corner which made it hard to get into bed. Parking was free and plentiful on the street. To get to restaurants it was a 10-20 minute walk. WiFi was free. The staff all spoke very good English and were very helpful. This was a good option for going to Oktoberfest and saving some money by being away from the tourist area which is very expensive at that time.

Deceptive Location Listing
Posted Jan 5, 2011 on Hotels.com
Best Western Munich Airport Hotel is how it is listed but, believe me. It is no where near the Munich Airport. In fact it is 15 K. from the Airport. They are suppose to have a shuttle to pick you up from the airport, but when you try to call for this shuttle no one answers the phone. So, I had to take city bus to Erding, which is the small town where this hotel is located. To make things more complicated, there is another Best Western Hotel caledl the Best Western Park Hotel in this small city where the city bus line ends. So when I drug my luggage two city blocks fromt the bus line ending to this hotel, I was informed that I was at the wrong Best Western, therefore, had I to take an expensive cab ride the the correct one. The hotel itself if very nice, clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful in every way. It is the false listing that this hotel is by the airport that I oppose. By the way the cost to take their shuttle to the airport is 28 euro or appx. $35 to $40 American dollars depending on the exchange rate at the time.

Good hotel, bad location

Taxi ride was 30 euros to the airport.....and their shuttle service is 14. Not the best location. The hotel is pretty good though.
