Great front deskPosted Apr 14, 2014
When I arrived a nice young girl named Bri was at the front desk, she was the most polite and friendly hotel employee I've ever met at any facility! Have me directors to more than one location I asked about and was just extremely polite and friendly! The room was nice and cozy, definitely go back

A get away.Posted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: I liked it being out of the way. It was quiet with exception of the neighbors running the taps and showering. You were able to park out front.
Cons: I think the breakfast could have a better variety of items to eat. Definitely upgrade the heating system. It was baseboard heat.
Location: The mall was close by and easy access to get to. Many stores and we were there to shop for certain items, but there was a lot to see.
I thought the continental breakfast would have been a bit better. The room was cold and took about four hrs. before it finally warmed up. We arrived around noon, turned the heat up and by the time we came back after supper, it had warmed up to about 70 degrees. I had set the thermostat to 75. Yes I would go back. We only wanted a place to sleep and rest. You get what you pay for.

makes you feel like your visiting grandparents .Posted Mar 11, 2014
love the place . makes you feel like your visiting your grandparents. yes its a little dated. But the quality is still there. Quality that other hotels no longer have. like security privacy you cant hear your neighbor room and the bed is so comfortable.

Im not sure why this place is so highly rated -??Posted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: Its seems very clean. But thats about the only positive I found. Its a bit depressing, really.
Cons: This is an old motel. There is not way around that. Its not even a cute old motel, its just old.
Location: Its on a busy 4/5 lane road. Strip malls and stores in all directions.
I made a reservation last minute as I was driving on my way to NY and needed to rest. I got to the room, and it was 65 degrees (inside), and it took about 2-3 hours for the room to warm up to a temperature that was comfortable to sleep in. Keep in mind it was 5 degrees outside. The place is dingy. I would have rather spent and extra $10 to stay at one of the big chains, as much as I hate to say it. I just don't think they should be charging as much as they do, considering how old and dated the place is.

Very well maintainedPosted Feb 4, 2014
Clean, comfortable, amazingly low price. Slept like a log. Enjoyed the "Retro" look. Usually stay at upscale places. Was glad to ring my SD on to a more modest place that was also very clean and well maintained. Owners obviously take great pride and work very hard. SUPPORT THE LITTLE GUY AND STAY HERE OVER A BIG CHAIN. America became great by hardworking folks like this.

Pros: Clean and close to splash lagoon and casino.
Cons: The WIFI signal should be improved.
We stayed for two nights. It was pretty close to the activity centers that we visited. The overall experience has been good but really had a tough time with WIFI. The signal was very weak.
