Great bed and breakfast

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: We liked the old, quaintness but would not be for those who strongly prefer modern and sleekness.
Cons: Extra pillows would have been nice. There are train tracks near - not a major problem but took us by surprise.
Location: We were there to visit our son at Chautauqua music festival - so not major focus on other options. Good for a quiet peaceful time.
Very pleasant four nights. Upstairs room was a little stuffy but the window air conditioning worked and helped (would be very cozy in cold weather ). Staff was more than pleasant and accommodating - could not be nicer. Breakfast was incredible - certainly not for anyone losing weight.

Spacious, convenient, comfortable.

This B and B offers everything you can desire in a short stay- complimentary drinks, great quality homemade food (breakfast), large comfortable room, amenities galor, beautiful grounds, and perfect location- close to the beach, close to shopping and wineries. We had a marvelous time. Although we didn't find the owner overly friendly, the host was gracious and sweet and made our stay feel very special. We will definitely be going back.

Wonderful food

The innkeeper and her assistant were warm and friendly. She contacted me ahead of time to inquire about special needs. I informed her my sister had celiac disease and asked that she could have eggs or fresh fruit for her breakfast. We had the happy surprise of a gluten free 4 course breakfast baked just for her. They also provided lots of local restaurant advice and suggestions for places to see. The rooms were clean and very pretty, gardens lovely, and food great. I have already recommended it to people.

The room was large and cozy and breakfast was awesome. The bed was a little too firm for us.

Great weekend getaway

My fiancé and I enjoyed touring the wine country and staying at the grape arbor. It was our first bed and breakfast and we loved the friendly greeting and amazing breakfast. We plan to come back again next year.

Oasis amongst the wineries

The Grape Arbor B&B is the best place to stay in Erie, especially during the wine festivals. You'll quickly get spoiled by the exquisitely homemade 3 course breakfasts, fresh cookies, and friendly staff. Maybe you'll experience the ghostly inhabitants, or at least the curious kitties. We had a fun romantic time and couldn't recommend it anymore highly. :-D
