“would stay yhere again”
bathroom was cold other than that it was ok for the price
“Not bad”
It's really close to everything in downtown Erie - my friends and I went up for a graduation and stayed here just for one night and it wasn't bad at all. It was close to bars and clubs so we could walk almost everywhere. Overall I was satisfied, it's not a luxury hotel, but if you just need somewhere to sleep it's perfect!
“Could be better.”
This two star Hotel is centrally located in Erie. The rooms were clean and appeared to have new drapes and bedspreads. There were no hair dryers and the television flicker had to be obtained at the desk. Also a deposit had to be given before being able to use the phone. The staff were friendly and appeared to be trying their best. The outside was unappealing and needed painting particularly the concrete. We decided not to use the pool because we wondered if it was clean enough.
“Faded glory”
This old motel has seen better days. But the room was very clean, which is the most important thing to me. The bed was not very comfortable. It is definitely no more than a 2 star motel. But the staff is a family and they care about their customers.
“Decent service, clean rooms, but older, run down hotel”
The service was fine, and our room was very clean. It's just an older motel that is a bit run down. But if all you need is a clean place to sleep at night, it will do.
“knights inn”
not bad, not great. you get what you pay for.
“A place to rest your head”
A place to rest, but found ladies underwear under the bed and beer caps and bathroom door wouldn't latch and would get stuck and had a hard time trying to open it, plus the tv remote didn't work, This room was way over priced
“Clean, spacious, recently redecorated, conveniently located, but old and much in need of maintenance”
Staff was courteous and attempted to help, but repeatedly and annoyingly unavailable when needed at reception desk. They were knowledgeable on limited subjects, but apparently powerless to repair deficient equipment and could not provide a TV chanel listing or provide hot water for a shower on one morning. Window was filthy but accordingly provided greater privacy for this first floor room. Water flow was plentiful. Bed and chairs were comfortable, towels were plentiful and bedding was clean. Furniture was a bit tired, but clean and serviceable. I was pleasantly surprised to find incandescent light bulbs which were easier to read under. I'm easy enough to satisfy that I would stay here again.
“Super 8 Hotel in Erie, PA”
I would not recommend this hotel unles you wanted to be dead center in town and didn't want to drive anywhere. This was the reason for picking this hotel, and by the end of the first night we regretted it. The outside of the hotel wasn't very nice looking. The soda machines and ice machines didn't work. The heater in the room was either extremely hot or extremely cold. The tiny refrigerator that was in the room completely froze the sodas and food we had put in there. It was over all not a very good experience.
“choose another hotel”
The place was dark and the man that checked us in was rude. We requested a non-smoking room and he inferred that he would come into the room to check if we smoked or not. The motel seemed run down and there were not some not so savory people hanging around the parking lot. The room was clean it just felt dirty. The only good thing I can say about this place is the church across the street was beautiful!!
