Nice hotel with possibly just back luck

Posted Jul 24, 2015
The room was small as expected but very clean. Hotel seemed reasonably modern. Staff was pleasant and complimentary breakfast was a nice plus. All that being said on our first night there at 7:30 the next morning, it sounded like someone began doing construction near our room. This turned out to be our air conditioner breaking and rattling very loudly. We then told the staff who had us switch rooms. Re packing after one day was a little annoying but accidents happen. But then on day three our toilet wouldn't flush in our new room. So I don't know if this was just some bad luck for us or an indication of poor quality. But I would give this another chance.

Rooms are small but adequate.

Wish the room had a small fridge as it would be nice to store soft drinks or leftovers for the next day.

Small but nice.

Posted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: Very nice breakfast buffet.
Location: Convenient location for Millcreek Mall and several good restaurants.
Just wanted a clean room with a firm bed for a good night's sleep while travelling and that's exactly what we got.

Room was bad!

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Not much.
Cons: The beds need replaced.
The first room they gave us smelled like someone had just smoked a cigar in it. It was horrible. We had to move rooms. Then the noise level from outside was bad all night long. The bed was hard. The rest room was so small only one person could fit with the door open. It was hard to close the door while standing in the room. The worst room we have had in the last five years.

You're Only Staying Overnight

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: The price was very good and was a good value overall.
Cons: Individual lamps on the nightstands.
We needed a place to stay for two nights midway between Rochester, NY and Cleveland, OH. We had no plans to be in and about the hotel during the day. This worked very well for us. The breakfast bar included waffles (make your own), cold cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice, eggs, bagels, muffins, and bread. The rooms were not spacious (but that's expected given the name), but were adequate for our purposes. The room was clean.

Pros: Close to shopping and restaurants. Nice comfortable beds.
Cons: Carpet needs updated. Dog barked waking us, tired so fell asleep again. Wish no pets allowed
My sister and I were in Erie and decided to stay at the Microtel Inn. Only there the one evening but it was enjoyable stay. Had all we needed for a one night stay.

Super "Micro"!

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: staff was nice, lobby was clean, and breakfast was pretty good.
Cons: Update rooms
Location: Lots of things to do close
Make sure you know what your getting by the name "Micro"! I stayed here when I was 9 months pregnant and the room was extremely small and stinky. My husband had to go and buy febreeze so that I could tolerate the old, smokey, and stinky smell of the extremely outdated room. Despite the room being sooo small we had even more limited room because we paid extra ($5) for a old beat up fridge and the queen bed small and not comfortable at all. I would stay here sometime in the future if Im looking for a cheap room to lay my head after a drunken night but definitely not to stay longer then ONE night. Ending on a positive note the staff was nice, lobby was clean, and breakfast was pretty good.

Nice hotel close to my interest points

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and courteous staff.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind at this time.
Location: It's in a great location and there are many nearby entertainment and shopping establishments to choose from. Splash Lagoon, movie theaters, mall, etc.
Our experience with the hotel was both positive and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating re: our needs. We were in town for a wedding, which was not far from the hotel and that made it easy for us to travel to and from the hotel. The room was nice - a smoking room, but still nice for us non-smokers. The breakfast set up was also well kept and orderly for hotel patrons to use. We enjoy staying at this hotel as it is in a nice area of Erie. Parking was accessible, safe and receptive to our needs. The hotel was clean and good for the children as well.
