“Very easy to get to.”

Having an in-room coffee maker makes all the difference in planning a trip! And the coffee was super! Free breakfast at McDonald's was an unexpected treat Thanksgiving morning.

“Very nice!”

The room featured everything but the kitchen sink...suprised and very pleased! Will definately come back!

“great hotel for the price!!”

Really comfortable and close to the casino and shopping!! Great price, nice staff!!

Area recommendations
The local mall on peach street is a great complex with many stores and restaurants with great food!! Nice area to spend some time. Also tinstle town theater is close and they have several movies all day to choose from!! And of course the casino is right down the street!!

“Erie Red Roof”

This Red Roof is average. During our visit, some guests came in after midnight and made an excessive amount of noise. There is no breakfast, so they give a McDonald's card for a breakfast combo. Not bad, except the line was very long at McDonald's and the wait was unbelievable. We did not get our breakfast. All in all, this is a Red Roof to avoid.

“Lousy stay.”

The rooms looked like a gang fight happened. They moved us to another room and the door lock was hanging on the door frame.

“Clean, renovated hotel in erie”

Based on research I did before my trip, Erie PA has no nice hotels, on various stages of bad ones. The Red Roof Inn just off of I-90 was actually really nice for the price. The room was very clean and recently renovated; the bathrooms in particular were beautiful. The beds were harder than I was used to, but I only stayed one night. You could hear the other guests in the hallway, but not in the room. The hotel is very bare bones - there's no pool/etc, but if all you need is a hotel, it's excellent and close to Peach Street and the other major areas of Erie. The wi-fi was fairly fast and there don't seem to be many filters on it, and check-in and check-out were very efficient and the staff was very helpful. There were some rough-looking guests loitering around outside of the hotel in the early evening (I was traveling with a small group of female friends), but they didn't say or do anything threatening and probably live there. I had no problems with them.

Area recommendations
The Presque Isle shore is nice, though it gets crowded. Downtown and the mall are full of chain stores and have little local character.

“Great travel bargin”

Hotel is right next to the highway, but noise was not a problem at all! Breakfast at McDonalds was included in the price, which was right next door. Room was nicely decorated and clean, and the staff was efficient and helpful! Best of all, the price was significantly lower than some of the surrounding hotels!

“Very nice for the price”

This hotel was clean and comfortable, and there was great service. Bathrooms had been recently updated. I was not given a hassle at all about my dog, even though the hotel was not aware when I booked that I would be bringing my pet. They were friendly and courteous. The McDonald's breakfast was a nice unexpected perk too.
