Perfect hotel for ladies shopping tripPosted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: Can't think of anything I didn't like.
Right off the highway and adjacent to Bob Evans and Boston's restaurants, with major shopping malls and outlets just a mile or so up the road. Hot breakfast with good variety and make-your-own waffles included in price, as is all day coffee (which was better than most hotel coffee offerings). We were caught in a snowstorm while there, and the hotel did a good job of keeping the parking lot and sidewalks plowed. Extremely pleasant staff! I would definitely stay there if I am in the area again.

Pros: Cleanliness and helpful staff.
Cons: Cannot think of anything
Location: Splash Lagoon, Wineries, Presque Isle state Park. Many places to eat.
We have stayed at many Residence Inns before, but this one was exceptional. The room was clean and roomy. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We asked about the Local Wineries and received all the information we needed to visit four of them and taste the wines. We purchased several nice bottles. The social's at night were very nice also. Plenty of food and drink and also friendly staff to talk to. We highly recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in Erie. Also the Splash Lagoon is connected to the hotel. Although we do not have children, it would be a very nice place to consider if you are looking to go there.

Very good. We had a minor plumming problem in our bathroom but, it was fixed in a very short time with no problem.. The desk clerk (Janelle) was very kind and professioal with any questions I might have had. The rood was very accomading for me a handycap person.

We were in room 115 next to the elevators. There was noise throughout the night. If the room had been somewhere else in the hotel, we would have rated it higher. The front desk clerk did all she could within her means. Eager for satisfied customers...we appreciated that. The hotel was very clean and well-managed. We will stay there again the next time that we are in Erie; just noy in Room 115.

Nice breakfast, residence and locationPosted Jul 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel is one of the best in town. Free Breakfast is really good. Location is great, however, getting into the entrance the first time may be a little tricky. It's close to the Erie Mall area and highway I-90 and I-79. Splash Lagoon is connected to this hotel. Hotel has little noise problem though, if someone bangs door on opposite room you may hear the bang, or you may hear noises from other rooms. May not come and clean things per your request right away, as the room service comes the next day. Staff are nice and helpful and may provide you discount coupons for the Splash Lagoon per your request. At night, finding parking near by the hotel may be a little difficult. Otherwise, hotel is very good, residence type amenities available in the hotel rooms.

Great place for familiesPosted Jun 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff was fantastic. The pool, hot tub, sauna, were wonderful features that our whole family thoroughly were able to enjoy. Especially appreciated the accessibility of the pool and hot tub for my husband who has some severe mobility issues. The kitchenette was so handy and it was easy to use. Even though we did not eat any meals in the room it was great for keeping some healthy snacks for the kids and being able to pick up and prepare more while we were there (especially since we found a fabulous farmer's stand across the road!).

Layout of room was poorPosted Jun 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very disappointed to find out animals were allowed in hotel. When I asked if their was a specific bank of rooms the clerk advised me that all rooms were available to pets. I am allergic to cats & dogs & although the clerk said the rooms were well cleaned after the animals left I was not very reassured by that comment. Also when going out for the evening a huge dog was in the hallway on our floor & we felt intimidated by his presence. We will not be returning to this hotel.
