“Beautiful hotel”

This hotel was beautiful, from the minute you pulled up. The lobby was appealing to the eye, and the entire decor package was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable, although I would have preferred a room that overlooked the lake, rather than the marina. The staff were friendly and helpful. The area of town that the hotel is located in left a little to be desired, and it was a good hike to the main shopping areas of Erie. I was impressed, overall and would definitely return.

“Weekend getaway spot”

We found ourselves "upgraded" to the club level which gave us a second lobby with its own rec room & social area. A very nice touch. It had what appeared to be the amenities for morning coffee...but the coffee service never appeared. The views of the marina are a definite selling point. However, the giant spider webs with spiders that festooned the window ledges from our top floor room were more than a little icky.

“Not impressed”

Our room was not made up the first day, although we were gone most of the day. The food in the restaurant was overpriced and of poor quality.

“Amazing!!”

It was lovely being there at Christmas time with all of the decorations. The water view was breathless.........very nice!! We loved the plastic coverings of the outside to shelter us from the cold..........all in all we loved your hotel. The negative ideas were the shower was tiny....way too small for men, paying for parking was cheap on your part and I don't think it would hurt to have a small free breakfast........... We would stay at your hotel again! We loved the location!!

“it was just ok for the price”

The hotel was really beautiful inside. Lake Erie isn't the most scenic place in February, but the hotel made up for it. One big drawback, there were some kind of unknown stains all over the furniture, really put us off when we noticed it. If you want to do more downtown theres a hotel thats cheaper and almost as nice.

“Not Impressed”

Beautiful property, location and view...IF you get the bay view...I paid for a bay view but did not get it! NO free wireless, charge 10 bucks a day. In this day & age, whats up with that...not too business traveler friendly! Room cleanliness was substandard, expected better from a Sheraton. All,yes ALL 4 water glasses were dirty, obviously previously used & wiped 'clean' with a towel. One glass was just disgusting. The room was dusty and attention to detail in cleaning was not there. I opted for the plastic cups that were 'sealed' in plastic. No hotel info book in the room. Had to keep calling the front desk for info on things like the restaurant (save your money!), pool hours, work out room (where it was) etc. They said they were going green and removed them...patooie...if you already had them why remove them. They didn't have any a year ago, so I'm assuming they were just too cheap to print them. I hate when places USE Going Green as a cover for cheapness! All-in-all aside from the fact that the property is connected to the convention center and made it convenient, I doubt I'll stay there again. I could have gone to another chain, had free internet, free parking, free breakfast, and saved my company a good chunk of change and only have to drive 10 minutes! WAKE UP Sheraton! We're all on budgets and trying to stretch our dollar so we can continue to travel.

“Fair , restaurant was extremely over priced”

I thought for the money it was very overpriced . Very little to do at the hotel. Not alot of businesses close. For the build up that is on your Website i was rather disappointed. I thought you could have used the Bay to more of your advantage with the Restaurant etc.

“disappoiinted....:(”

We were very excited about the whole hotel itself, but the fact that we didn't have a fridge or microwave was disappointing but not as disappointing as the fact that we had to pay for parking and $2 for water? I'm sorry I have stayed at a lot of different hotels with different amenities, but never had to pay for water in the room or parking, extra expenses that we were not prepared for. All and all, I was thinking of coming back with my husband for a visit but I'm sure we might try closer to the beach and with no extra expenses for parking and water?!.......Other than that our trip was sweet and the staff was awesome!!!
