“The Big Easy in Essaouira”

Charming, laid back beach resort, ideal for a few days of rest and relaxation. Wonderful service by hotel staff - genuinely wanted guests to have a first class experience.

Area recommendations

Hotel is on the beach. Medina is five minute walk away, and is small enough to be easily navigable yet contains everything one would expect.

“WOW! Can't wait to go back”

I have been regular visitor to Sofitel Essaouria for five years. Love it. The hotel is charming, the location is perfect and the quality of guest care is outstanding. The restaurants are great. By all means, try the ocean cafe! They serve a fantastic breakfast which is a great way to ease into the day. This is a relaxing place that does everything it can to create a calm, serene and gorgeous atmosphere. Essaouira itself is a very special place, and fortunately Sofitel lives up to it!

Area recommendations

Any time of the year is great. Shopping is hassle free and the things from which you can choose are gorgeous. For restaurants, don't miss Taros with both great food and great ambiance. Don't miss out on the carpet store at #6 rue Marrakech in the medina. They know their stuff and will ship anywhere.
