“The Big Easy in Essaouira”

Charming, laid back beach resort, ideal for a few days of rest and relaxation. Wonderful service by hotel staff - genuinely wanted guests to have a first class experience.

“Great hotel and location”

The hotel was really nice - definitely looked like the nicest one in town. Only about a 3 minute walk to the medina. Right on the beach with a great pool, work out room and big rooms.

“WOW! Can't wait to go back”

I have been regular visitor to Sofitel Essaouria for five years. Love it. The hotel is charming, the location is perfect and the quality of guest care is outstanding. The restaurants are great. By all means, try the ocean cafe! They serve a fantastic breakfast which is a great way to ease into the day. This is a relaxing place that does everything it can to create a calm, serene and gorgeous atmosphere. Essaouira itself is a very special place, and fortunately Sofitel lives up to it!

“Fantastic Town, Great Hotel”

Wonderful location right across the street from the beach and close to the Medina for shopping, restaurants, and fish market. Staff was super helpful! We needed to do laundry and they recommended a place in the Medina that was a lot less expensive then the hotel service. Also, helped us arrange a ride to Casablanca. The room was a bit warm, the AC didn't work that well. The cleaning staff brought us a fan (without even asking for it) and that helped a lot.

“Best Place in Morocco”

This is the best place to stay - unconditionally. Our best memories of the trip are from this place. The front desk staff are phenomenal. To my first question to them "Is it Possible?" the girl at the front desk (name of Neesah) said "Yes!) before I could complete my question and lived up to her words and our expectations. If we ever go back to Morocco we will only to to Essouirah and stay at this hotel.

“A lovely place”

The hotel was really stunning and lovely. We had an incident where they forgot to pick us up at the Marrakech Airport at midnight, three hours away, but when we finally arrived, after a not ideal night at one of the Ibis hotels in Marrakech, the staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating and did what they could to make our stay really special, which was easy as the hotel is beautiful - the pool and spa are fabulous and the rooms are good, although the internet situation could be improved upon.
