“Most impressed”

The nature of my business requires to travel a lot, though this time was for pleasure but Best Western hotel was one the best hotel in its category I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Staffs were extremely polite and professional. For the price paid we did not expect having such good size rooms with all the facility normally you expect from 5 star hotel. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was very good, though it was a bit on the high end of the price. But the food was excellent and again staff were extremely good.

Hotel was very nice, clean and quiet location next to a big park. Didn't have any meals so can't comment on that.

“Great Business Class Hotel, well suited for family travel!”

We recently stayed in the Best Western Parkhotel in Oberhausen, Germany. We were very well satisfied with the hotel! We traveled with our two children (ages 4 and 7), and we were all very comfortable. It is sometimes difficult to find a hotel in Germany with family rooms suited for more than one child. We were delighted that this hotel was so comfortable and so affordable while still able to accommodate our family. The hotel is right down the street to a large public park with tree-lined walking trails, open playing fields and a few playgrounds. While my husband was attending a training seminar the kids and I walked to the park. The hotel is about 10 minutes by car from the Centr-O, Europe's largest indoor shopping mall. If you're used to large American malls, you may not be overly impressed with it, but it is a nice mall with lots of restaurants nearby. Also nearby are the SeaLife Aquarium, the Centr-O amusement park and the Konig's Pilsner Arena where many concerts are held. If you are traveling during a hot spell in summer (as we were), you may be happy to know that some of the rooms have air conditioning units. We were in a two-room suite that had a unit in each room. The beds were comfortable, the bedding clean and nice, and the rooms well-cared for. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English very well. We highly recommend this hotel!

good place to stay near only a short trip to the many attractions in the area.

“No Air Conditioning”

Although the website stated the hotel was air conditioned it was only PARTIALLY air conditioned. The first night they could not give us a room withairconditioning--so the choice was to sweat it out or not sleep due to the traffic from the street. The second night we could only get a smoking room with air conditioning--luckily I had some lysol spary with me to get rid of most of the stench.
