Warm welcome with a smile. Great from a business point of view, as it is close to Colchester and Chelmsford.Ideal if you are travelling from Stanstead too.

Excellent as always. Owners are lovely, rooms are well presented, en-suites have fantastic showers (over the baths), and situated in a lovely location.

Relaxing start to our holidayPosted Aug 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
We have been coming here for quite a number of years now, staying overnight prior to flying out from Stansted the following day. The location is wonderful, set right back from the main road at the end of a little lane on a working farm but is very, very quiet and peaceful. It is about 15 minutes driving time to the airport. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. The attractively rustic rooms (converted from original farm buildings) are clean, the beds comfortable, toiletries are provided along with a refreshment tray and there is a flat screen TV. The layout of the accommodation enables one to park the car right outside. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice and cooked to order. There is a small bar next to the reception area in the main building where the breakfasts are served, where one can have a quiet drink and a convivial chat with Neil, the owner. It is a delightful start to our holiday and we really look forward to it. Highly recommend!

Peaceful location on working Family FarmPosted Aug 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very clean, comfortable units. Lovely and peaceful country surroundings and quiet rooms. TV WiFi iron and ironing board on request if needed. Nothing too much trouble for your needs. Breakfast was very tasty and filling and served with a lovely smile. We only stayed the night having travelled down for a funeral, but would definitely recommend this peaceful find for a longer stay.

Just wonderful.Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Very friendly and pristine cleanliness, lots of hot water
Location: Great location, set in a working arrable farm, Sat nav directs you to the exact small un-named road, so easy to find,
From the start I felt welcome. The landlady popped out the minute I drove in, welcomed me, no fuss, just one simple form, showed me to my room, Beautifully clean, in fact pristine, snowy white bed linen. The rooms are converted stable block, each room named after its previous occupant, eg Dobbin/Daisy etc.All lead onto a courtyard, with benches outside to sit and relax after the long drive. The cleaning staff were lovely friendly and chatty, and even Betty (the dog) was happy to see me. Breakfast was great, freshy cooked , Overall I had a great stay, would recommend it and definitly stay again,

Superb Stay, Fabulous Breakfasts, Stylish RoomsPosted Aug 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was my first stay at HOMELYE Farm B&B and stayed for 5 days. The farm is so peaceful and relaxing. The breakfasts and service is first rate. The rooms are stylishly decorated and clean and have re-booked for another week. Neil, Tracy and the Labradors are so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. Great place to rest and re-charge.

Comfy bedsPosted Aug 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Excellent. Beds were the best I've slept in...really comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent. Room was comfortable spacious, two armchairs, a wet room with a big shower. Owner was friendly, service wad fast and courteous. Location, on a farm meant the surroundings were quiet. Will definitely return.
