“Nice hotel, good facilites but shambolic breakfast”

I like this place, I probably shouldnt, I had a nice four poster bed, the spa facilites were good and the staff were freindly. The shower in my room was possibly the worst excuse for a cleaning tool I have ever used, so little water came out I ended up washing my hair under the bath taps instead. I like the location and everything was very clean and tidy. Gave up on breakfast though, came down and waited ten minues for someone to appear. it was help yourself but no one had cleaned up so the restaurant was covered in used plates, I ended up emptying a bowl of jams and butter out and using that to have my cornflakes. got asked eventually if I wanted a cooked breakfast and didnt want to take the chance. To be honest, I couldn't care less about breakfast but for other people I imagine this would be annoying. I felt sorry for the woman serving as it seemed to be her job to check people out, take payment, serve breakfast, take orders (and probably cook the food to) all on her own. Regardless, she still seemed to be able to manage a smile and a joke when I left.
