Nice hotel, great pier view

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Room good, breakfast good, staff friendly.
Cons: Only one moan. Twenty minutes to check in at 6pm on a Friday night as only one member of staff on.
Location: About 20 mins walk to cliffs pavilion, right by the high street and pier.
Did what we wanted a local room to save travelling back home after a night at the cliffs pavilion.

Blarr.. never again..

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Elevators were quick? the Iron worked..
Cons: Employ some cleaners, friendlier staff, different hot selection of breakfast
Location: The town is nearby and fair.
I found the room pretty filthy, you can see they do not vacuum the rooms properly.. i saw hair on the carpet alot of it. Dust everywhere.. the tv looked like it was about to fall off the wall and one of the lights had a really annoying humming sound. There was alot of external noise and you can hear everything on the corridors. This hotel does not have any car parking, you have to park across the street in a shopping centers parking facility. from 5pm to 9am it is 5 pounds so it basically forces you to leave by 9am so you dont have to see if they clean your room properly!

Good hotel in excellent position

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Position room and staff
Cons: Hot plates for breakfast
Location: Best position in the town. Near to shops and beach and promenade. The carnival was a bonus!
Friendly staff especially Jane on duty in the restaurant at breakfast. Lovely room with plenty of space. Good security and a discount on parking. Excellent.

Lovely hotel next to the Pier

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Room size and convenience to the the Pier.
Cons: Hotel needs to provide parking for the guests.
Location: Location is great because it's a 2 minute walk to adventure land and arcades. There's also a shopping centre next to the hotel.
Hotel was very nice and the room size is quite big. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good location......shame about the staff

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: The destination was good and the view was nice
Cons: Most things
Location: Adventure island was across the road
I booked the hotel and put in my details of 1 adult and 2 children aged 13 and 11. When I turned up to check in they said I had 1 bed for the 3 of us to sleep in. I asked how could they expect me to sleep in a bed with my 13 year old son and 11 year old daughter, the chap on reception said that I had booked a 1 bed room. I explained to him that I put my details on expedia and surely they should have provided me with a room that met my details. The hotel representative was completely unhelpful and I had to argue with him for over 20 minutes. Also the room was dirty, the chairs and bed had dirt and dust on them. The breakfast was not very good either, the bacon was fatty and uncooked, the scrambled egg was floating in water and when I turned up for breakfast the tables were dirty and I had to ask 3 times for a coffee. Other than that the hotel was alright.

Reasonable hotel, but lack of parking a problem

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Very clean and staff first class
Cons: Interior facilities
Location: purely a staging post for a family weekend
Having survived the parking at the adjacent multistory(recovery from pricing takes time.) There is no wardrobe or drawers in the room----pegs in the wall are no substitute. No bath and shower was tepid, Not really value for money!

Really enjoyed my stay at park Inn, staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great. Short walk from the station, close to the beach, shops and adventure island.

Stress free stay

Posted Jul 26, 2014
Stayed one night in accessible twin room x 2 adults. Good location and high quality for price. Extremely friendly staff and wide choice of complementary breakfast. As a disabled guest who struggles walking far and/or negotiating steps, the room facilities were very good, although the room location did require climbing 2 steps which would have proved difficult if alone or using my wheelchair. Close, secure parking across the road in 24hr shopping centre car park at discounted rate of £5 for the night instead of £15, however we were unaware of charged parking before arrival. Overall enjoyable and would stay again
