Lovely breakfast

Didnt see anyone on arrival ..key was left out for us .room was clean and homely but probably wouldnt stay again due to the noise of the saniflo toilets . Everytime someone in the building used the toilet the noise was unbelievable! Breakfast was lovely , freshly cooked to order with choice of cereals ,juices etc ..

Macerator in bathroom is very noisy and could be heard in other bedrooms disturbing ourselves and other guests, otherwise a delightful & friendly place to stay.

The Swan at Great Easton - 15th Century Inn

After a friendly welcome by the owner, I was escorted to a nicely decorated, clean and comfortable room. Dinner was excellent quality and the complimentary port and homemade shortbread in the room was a great touch.

The room itself was lovely and clean and had everything we needed! Unless you're driving location is fine! We had a wedding that weekend and ordered a taxi to get to Braintree but cost £27 one way. Weren’t very impressed! We didn’t think we were going to be provided with breakfast so that was a nice surprise! The gentleman there was very helpful and very kind to us both. Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel was hard to find as there was no signs. The hotel was untidy and could do with a clean. One of the staff members didn't feel like they wanted to be their. So won't be staying their again.
