"Great Rate for a last minute trip"
We were in need of a quick stay for a reasonable rate. Place was a little dated but very clean and close to downtown. Thomas was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend to anyone looking for a clean and reasonable place within 5 minutes of everything Estes has to offer.

"The Estes Park Resort"
The resort is at a great location by the lake and easy to find. Some rooms have AC and other rooms do not. When you make your reservation, be sure to check about AC in your room. We did not have AC, but it was early June and open windows cooled the room. The room was clean and accommodating otherwise. I would stay there again.

"Excellent!!"
My family and I stayed at Murphy's River Lodge since it was near The Rocky Mountains National Park . The lodge was very cozy and neat. They offered a decent breakfast and the staff was very nice from the beginning to the end of our stay. They even got us a picture gift and a frame! It was an absolutely pleasant experience.!! I definitely recommend this place to everyone who enjoys the beauty of nature and seeks a relaxing place to share with family and/or friends.

"Grand old charm in gorgeous setting"
Serene old-world charm. We skipped the ghost & hotel tours, a bit too touristy for us. Instead we just wondered around the grounds & buildings and were very happy. The Cascade restaurant was perfect, best veggie meal ever, Acorn Squash with wild rice, yummy and I'm not a vegetarian, just wanted a lighter meal. Wow. Staff was always smiling and helpful. A lot of stairs so be prepared to ask staff for help with bags and such if needed.

"Quaint, rustic building with beautiful location"
All of the staff that we experienced were very polite, helpful, and warmly friendly. The room was small but cute, with a fun view out of the window, viewing the city lights of Estes Park in the valley below. However, Estes Park is at over 7,000 feet. The inn is just a short walk away from a beautiful mountain lake that has 2 trails that circle the lake, with views of the snow capped Rockies. The breakfast was so fun. Fruit and muffin, quiche and bacon, huge cinnamon role, coffee, orange juice, and apple juice. And the inn is 10-15 minutes from the entry to Rocky Mountain National Park with Trail Ridge Road which climbs to over 11,000 feet. Many trails to hike including Alberta Falls which is amazing. One staff member Grant, if he is still around, because he is a college student was amazing. Very friendly, enjoyed talking with him, he described each part of our meal, encouraged us to move a cup of coffee that cooled off to another table and he'd be glad to bring a fresh hot cup. One of the staff brought my wife and I full length robes. A staff person at the front desk put had some brochures for us in the morning about activities in the area that we were asking about. So, a good choice. And yes we'd return, accept we live in Oregon 1,000 miles away.
