The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. The hotel is clean. The free breakfast is excellent. We will stay every time we visit Ettlingen.

Book it only if you have no other option.
It’s a decent hotel but totally overpriced. Unless, for a reason I am not aware of, Ettlingen is a special spot, there is nothing that justify the kind of price Ibis is asking for a room in this hotel. They are even charging for parking, fortunately there is plenty of free parking in the streets around. The young lady at the lobby was really not welcoming and had obviously a problem with the idea of smiling. I like to think that it was because she knew it was a rip-off and couldn’t be happy about it. Breakfast was nice though….

Great Hotel-Great Stay!
Great hotel. We loved it there. We were two families with younger children. They gave us family rooms, which, in and of themselves were surprisingly spacious for the lower price we paid. But their family rooms are actually two adjoining rooms. So they included even double the space and a separate bathroom. They also have a stool and children's soap on the children's side. The breakfast has just enough variety, to satisfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was great to have plenty of underground parking available at a very reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again and definitely recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic hotel close to Karlsruhe by tram
Lovely, clean hotel and good value for money. Very good with children- lovely room for families and children’s breakfast buffet was perfect. They gave the children a toy at check in and also bubble bath in room. Easy access from A5 and easy to park in garage. Easy access to city by tram in 10 mins and town itself quiet and very pretty.

Surprise highlight of our trip
We spent one night here as we were travelling through at the end of our holiday and were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, cleanliness, and the access to a wonderful German restaurant, Vogel, just a few minutes' walk away. We would definitely stay here again if passing through the area.

Very good value
Needed a low cost hotel for one night. Much better than expected. Have always avoided Ibis hotels, but the "Styles" concept is very good. Comfortable beds, modern, bright rooms. Reception and bar staff friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Comfortable hotel in pleasant location
No fuss hotel in nice location. Supermarket opposite the hotel and several restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were simple with all basic amenities provided - uncomplicated rather than luxurious.

Great hotel in a lovely place
We had a fantastic stop over here on our way down to Italy. The room was huge, 2 interconnecting rooms, perfect for a family of 4, giving us 2 showers, 2 toilets etc... perfect after a few hours in the van. The hotel was clean and tidy and had a very unique style which we loved. The breakfast was ace. Loads of it and plenty of variety. Great parking beneath the hotel. There's a height limit of 2m but I managed to get my Transporter down there OK. Ettligen itself is a beautiful little town too with lots of bars and restaurants. We ate at a local place and the staff were helpful and friendly (beer was good too!). Overall, a great hotel and thoroughly enjoyable stay in Ettlingen.

What's not to like?
Great choice for an over night stopover. Hotel is very new and hence clean. The 'Styles' brand means some strange/garish choices for the interior furnishings but it gives it some character rather than the usual formulaic 'chain' hotel. Breakfast is included and there was plenty of choice, but no hot offering. Wifi was free and worked perfectly, which is rare in my experience. Underground car park was eight euros but you can park on the street for free. Town centre is just a few minutes walk - small but quite interesting. We were there on Monday night and most restaurants in town were shut.

I'd never stayed in an Ibis hotel. I was a bit taken aback by the lay out of the room. I didn't like the toilet, wash basin and shower all being separate. The shower was open in the room and the washbasin was on the other side of that. The room felt like an Ikea show room. The staff at reception were friendly and spoke very good English. The hotel over all was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I wouldn't stay at an Ibis again but that's only through the layout not being to my taste.

Good hotel, worth the money, but the internet as with most German hotels is pretty shocking! Like being back on dial-up and I can't understand why they don't really seem to have got their act together here. How can you describe yourself as a business hotel when your internet runs like treacle.

When I arrived the basement parking of the hotel was full, and I had to park my car outside , 300 m walk. That is not what I expected. I should have been informed upfront - I was there before. Hotel parking is always one of my choice criteria. Not happy.

Die Kosten für die Nutzung der hoteleigenen Garage (14 Eu pro Tag) empfinde ich als unangemessen.

Bezüglich der Tiefgarage bin ich der Meinung, dass es fairer ist, wenn Gäste, die diese nicht nutzen, auch keinen Aufpreis dafür bezahlen müssen. Auch zum Vergleich, ein öffentliches Parkhaus in Ettlingen kostet 22 pro Tag/Nacht, ab 7.00 Uhr mit Zuschlag ;). zur Info, es gibt genügend kostenlose Parkplätze in den umliegenden Straßen bzw. sogar Parkplätze (gegenüber, im ehemaligen Kasernenviertel). In der Hoffnung, Sie bald wieder begrüßen zu dürfen, bis dahin herzliche Grüße

Städtische Zone, gut frequentiert, da im Stadtzentrum gelegen. Um den Straßenlärm zu vermeiden (aber ruhig in der Nacht), können Sie von unserer Klimaanlage profitieren, auch individuell einstellbar.
