“Convenient; reasonably priced”
We just wanted a downtown location for the night near U of Oregon. This fit the bill. Pleasant staff, decent continental breakfast, cute seating area upstairs. We'll be back.
“Very satisfactory and will probably stay there again.”
We found the hotel clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, the neighborhood pleasant and easy access to other parts of the city. The only disappointment was that the TV was difficult and limited - so we gave up on it. Most likely will stay there again on our next visi to Eugene.
“This motel was "fine"...”
The location is great if you are going to visit a student at UO. The room was clean, although it did smell a bit musty. As a solo woman, I was a bit uncomfortable with the "motel" concept, & being on the ground floor, it felt a bit spooky. The room just had one heater unit that was under the front window, & it was COLD when I was there --- since the heater didn't have a temperature setting, it just kept going until you shut it off. That meant that each night, I'd be awakened in a sweat, & have to get up & turn it off. It also meant that it was cold upon wake up, & the heat never really made it back to the bathroom area. However, the staff was very friendly, and the price was good. I'd stay there again if my favorite hotel there was booked as it was this time.
“Nice, close-in place to stay in Eugene”
Convenient to downtown Eugene and all major roads. Hotel has both upstairs and downstairs rooms, and king beds available. Many restaurants nearby, walking distance, and event venues. My husband and I will stay there again.
“Old motel, not well maintained”
This is an old motel style property that has not been well maintained. My room had a very strong odor of pets, and what was supposed to be a non-smoking room was obviously not. The cable TV system was out of order during my visit. In addition, the desk staff was not helpful in any way. When I asked where I could get a meal or coffee, the gentlman on duty didn't seem to know what was available close by. In addition, I feelthat the price was high for what it was.
“May 2009 stay-not one of my best”
Doors didn't shut well so had to close mine hard sometimes 3 to 4 times to get it to shut and the people next door did too and woke me up at 2:30 in the morning slamming their door. There was mold in the shower.
“OK hotel for overnight stay”
OK Hotel. Friendly staff. Basic clean and comfortable room.
“Good Hotel”
The room was clean and the location of the hotel was ideal for getting to and from the University of Oregon. The continental breakfast had a variety of breads and was very good. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
