Meets Hilton essential standards

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Location and friendly staff.
Cons: a little work on freshening up the bathrooms- just paint/wallpaper and new shower curtains.
Location: Ideal location in downtown Eugene, OR. Close to everything.
Good for hosting large events. Central location is very good. Train noise is a slight problem, but it is for all the hotels in the area. Staff was very nice and helpful. Good shuttle service to the airport, but they don't tell you in advance that it is not on a constant schedule - so you need to call for a pick up after you land, and finding the local phone number from the Hilton corp. web site was no easy feat. Beds and pillows were quite comfortable and room was clean. Bathrooms are in need of a remodel though- lots of cracks in molding and shower curtains had an unpleasant odor. Had a problem with our HVAC but it was taken care of immediately and worked fine thereafter.

Great hotel, in a great location except for

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Firmer beds. Why does the train need to honk its horn repeatedly at night?
Location: Many stores, bars and restaurants.
Very nice and friendly staff. This hotel is in a great location, close to many restaurants, Autzen Stadium, U of O campus. However, there is a very noisy train that honks it s horn repeatedly throughout the evening. I spelt through it but this kept my wife up all night long. Hotel is very nice and clean. Rooms are nice. Bed could be more firm. It was very soft and my back hurt after sleeping on it a couple of days. I would stay here again but only if I could get a room on 7th street, away from the train.

Expected Better

Posted Nov 7, 2014
Pros: Clean room. That's about it.
For a Hilton, I expected better. The food is average. I was on the backside of the hotel, which must be close to the Fire Station because every night they went out two or three times. I did not get one good night sleep in four days. The Hotel is close to some good restaurants, so I would recommend eating at one of the local places rather than the Hilton.

Excellent Hotel central to everything

Second time I stayed at this hotel and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay. I'm able to walk to the UO Campus as well as Autzen Stadium. I highly recommend this hotel.

Not thrilled!

Only place left with room for football game, tiny cramped single sink&vanity, balcony was over cement surrounded with concrete wall, room was clean and bed comfortable but paid almost $400 for location to game. That being said, shouldve been a $50 room at best, plus we paid $15 for parking.Bar food after game was very greasy.

清潔で手入れの行き届いたホテルです

Posted Oct 12, 2014 on Hotels.com

Nice stay

Surprised to find that pets were welcome but came with a non-refundable pet fee of $50. This wasn't communicated during the reservation process but the hotel essentially split the difference with me by comping the overnight parking. Not ideal but still reasonable. Late checkout was requested and graciously accommodated with no pressure or interruption from housekeeping staff.
