“Nice Quality Hotel”

Stayed 2 nights here with my 3 kids. I was told. when I booked. I would have 2 queen beds and was told when I arrived that I was getting 1 king, and all 2 bed rooms were sold out, which I was irritated about. I was offered a roll away for $10 extra per night. I felt. this should have been waived but wasn't a huge issue. The front desk person blamed expedia so not sure what happened. Other than that it was clean, well maintained and in a nice convenient location. The. staff was friendly and helpful. Thee only complaint is the restaurant good wasn't very good and was a little pricey. It would have been well worth going to the Denny's about a block away!

“Good place to stay while in town for Duck football”

I was just in town for the weekend to watch a Ducks football game. The staff was good, and the room was more than adequate. I only ate in the restaurant for breakfast once, but the staff was beyond superb.

“H.I. Springfield was perfect (except the coffee)”

The Holiday Inn in Springfiled was absolutely perfect in location, cleanliness, service, restaurant, EVERYTHING, except the coffee. We were travelling from Seattle to SF area. It was a one night stay. We were tired. The hotel staff was great, the hotel easy to find, the room was wonderful. It was clean, large, comfortable, and QUIET!! Couldn't have been better. Visit the Hop Valley Brew Pub, just a few steps away. It was good pub food, really good brews. The next morning we had breakfast in the restaurant. It was attractive, clean and comfortable. We had a great breakfast, and our ONLY complaint about the entire stay, and this is a minor complaint-- the coffee could have been better. Stay here-- it was such a pleasure!!

“Amazingly helpful staff!”

I wish I could remember her name...the brunette who checked me in (starts with an M I think) was so helpful. IN a very pleasant way accommodated a special request without making me feel like i was a pain. She had to work at some things to make it happen and was happy to do so. Everyone there was smiling and courteous! THe hotel exceeded my expectations....it was clean, fairly modern, had a nice restaurant for breakfast. Would have been nice to have breakfast included. Was easy to connect to wifi. Fitness room was fine....wish there were weights, but he cardio was nice. Will defintely be back!

“Clean, walk to great brewery!”

We stayed for the weekend and slept soundly and comfortably. The rooms were very clean and modern. The only tiny complaint I have is missing towel hooks in the bathroom. Where do you hang your towel if you want to reuse it? Since that's my only complaint, you can see that our two night stay was mostly perfect. It was quiet even though I heard the front desk say they were completely sold out! We did not use the onsite restaurant but walked over to Hop Valley Brewery to enjoy a beer sampler and local beef burger. (The beef gets fed the left over grain from the brewery! talk about keeping it local!) Overall I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn.

“Great value”

This is a great value and wonderful location. The hotel was clean and beds/pillows were very comfortable. The decor was excellent and exceeded what would be expected in this price range. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

“Beware if you have kids!”

Hotel was ok as expected for Holiday Inn clean and average. The pool area was nice enough, a bit cold though. We would not stay here again because when we turned the TV on we kept getting flashes of an adult movie that someone in the hotel must have ordered, we certainly did not! At first the flashes were very fast but I was horrified enough to make my son cover his head with a blanket. Then there was a point when the TV actually froze on a scene from this movie and the sound came on, my son was asleep at this point, but I was still disgusted this would have happened, I am thankful he did not see and hear what we did, for this reason I would say beware if you have kids and turn the TV on!

“Eugene - Gem”

Wonderful hotel - and the staff was terrific. Room was lovely, quiet and everything is close by. Restaurants, shopping - just a few miles - and of course the University. We'll definitely staff again.

“No food, no snacks...”

This hotel is clean and the rooms are nice. The problem is that the only food you can get is in a sit-down restaurant. If you want a latte or cappuccino for breakfast---sorry. You have to walk outside to a different hotel. Hungry for an apple or light snack in the afternoon?---you can walk over to a different hotel next door, but there are no snacks here. The sit-down restaurant is OK and I believe there is room service, but I think more convenient and less expensive options should be offered. I spent enough time at the hotel next door getting coffee and snacks that I think I'll just stay there next time! Also, future customers should know that this hotel is a long way from U of O. It's in a neighborhood of all hotels and strip malls and malls.
