Small room and bathroom

Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Located near variety of restaurants.
Cons: Hotel needs to be maintained properly and renovated.
Location: Centrally located within town near college, Farmers market and Saturday Market.
Room was small especially the bathroom. Bathroom had only one hand towel rack there was no place to hang a bath towel. The room was poorly designed that made the bathroom extra small. The carpet was worn and the room did not feel clean.

Extra hair

Posted Oct 29, 2012
We arrived late night. Outside was dreary and cluttered. We got to our room and pulled down the sheets only to find hair. We thought about just leaving but asked for a different room. We were given a cleaner room, but the shower had mold around the edges, no fan or overhead light. Overall, it was not even close to the experience we had hoped for. It was difficult even to get into the bed.

Clean and Friendly

Posted Jun 3, 2012
Pros: Clean, friendly, and good parking.
Cons: Big bed in a small room.
Location: Easy access to the city and the university, as well and entry and departure from the area.
The room was small yet very clean with all the usual amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. The location is convenient to the city and the university. It was interesting to learn the hotel is independent from the Travelers Inn company of former years. This hotel is owned by the manager who seems to feel pride in serving customers well. That can be compared with other franchise units managed by employees of a national company. Here I had the feeling of being welcomed by the family of the owner.

Nice small hotel

Pros: Staff
Location: Very close to the Univ of Oregon. Perfect place to stay for track meets when you won't be spending alot of time in your room.
Great staff - very helpful. A perfect option for a inexpensive independently owned motel.

Good value, convenient location

Posted Aug 31, 2011
Traveler's Inn is located right on Eugene's main drag, just a few blocks from the University of Oregon campus. This means that rooms are a bit noisy from the traffic, but at a level that won't bother sound sleepers like me. Room space was small but adequate, and cleanliness was good. If you're familiar with Hindu culture, be sure to appreciate the icons and portraits at the front counter; might gain a few points with the owners.

Good value. Not fancy or offering a lot of amenities. But clean rooms and great location near campus. Extremely nice and accomodating family manages the property.

Adequate accommodations - deceptive rate statement.

Motel is 1950's vintage, very convenient to the U of O. campus. Other than location there is nothing remarkable about it. It is simply a convenient, clean place to sleep at night. The unadvertised 10% fee for credit card use left a bad taste.
