“A wonderful place to stay”

This hotel was great. We got held up on the way there, and didnt arrive until 12:40am, this presented no problems, they were quick and very helpful, and spoke English which helped. The room was wonderful, and the bed was so comfortable. Would strongly recommend this hotel, and was in a wonderful little French town.

“Good for parents of young children”

Excellent hotel / room for us parents with one young child en route to southern France. Good facilities in room and lovely breakfast. Restaurant serves good food but not the cheapest! Quiet location, out of town in new industrial area. Postcode gets to hotel using Tom Tom Europe Sat Nav. Secure parking. Good value for money.

“Great Stopover”

we stayed at this hotel with our family on our way back from the Languedoc region so had been on the road for about 8 hours. We received a warm welcome at reception & speedily given our room keys after being offered free wifi in the room & asked if we would like to reserve a atable for dinner. The room was spotlessly clean & even had a power shower in the bathroom. dinner was excellent, far better than we expected & once again staff were very pleasant. Menu in English available. Breakfast was continental only but was good. The hotel is fairly new & very modern but has a sapcious feel to it. Definately stay again as Chartres worth a visit if only for the Cathedral.

“Convenient for business or tourism in Chartres”

The convenient location of this modern hotel located in an industrial area close to the A11 makes it easy to find. For tourists having a car, it's only a short drive to car parks around the cathedral. Those who want a quaint old hotel within walking distance of the cathedral should look elsewhere and expect to pay more. This group of three male colleagues was pleased to find a room with three separate beds--the only hotel we could find in Chartres where this was available. The staff was attentive and courteous. The reasonably priced breakfast was outstanding: travelers from France, the U.K., and the U.S. would all find items to suit their widely different ideas of what breakfast should be. I wouldn't hesitate to choose this hotel again.

“Can't be faulted August 2008”

A modern if characterless hotel on the outskirts located on an industrial park and contrary to another review very easy to find.Very similar to Travel Inn type in UK. Easy access to the N10 and only a few minutes by car from centre of Chartres.Absolutely spotless. Helpful English speaking friendly staff.Comfortable restaurant with good service, there are 2 large flat screen TV,s running but they are not intrusive.Comfortable quiet rooms with excellent bathroom.

“Kyriad Chartres: A Diamond On The Edge Of Town”

If you have a car, the Kyriad Chartres is the hotel for you. It's on the outskirts of town, about 10 mins from the centre. But it is well worth the time. It's a wonderful, new hotel with all the mod cons. Why it is rated only a 2 star is beyond me. It is much better and more comfortable than many 3 stars we have stayed in on this trip. The breakfast buffet is very good.

“Very good value for your money.”

Very clean and comfortable hotel for the money. Clean spacious bathroom. Was very happy with everything. A bit out of the way, but o.k if you have a car. Friendly staff.

“I like this chain!”

Value for money. We had a very difficult time finding this hotel, since it was far outside Chartres, but once we got there it was so comfortable! I loved the beds and the comforters. We were really tired and went to sleep right away--as soon as our heads hit the pillow! Best of all, though, was the young and very nice hotel clerk who had HOT croissants and strong, delicious coffee waiting for us when we got up very early the next morning. He also drew us an accurate and very helpful map showing us how to get to our next destination. This young man left a positive and lasting impression on us!

“Decent overnight stop”

Clean modern basic hotel. We arrived tired and late at 10pm having missed ferry due to traffic problems. We had booked a dinner reservation but were not even offered a snack -just directions to McDonalds. However were given a free breakfast - but arrived at 9.30am to find little food left.
