“You get what you pay for”
The service was fine and except for the floor needing vacuumed everything was clean. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. It offered stale cereal and plain bagels. Also when we took a shower we got out and was greeted with a quarter inch of water on the floor. Other then that it was a great stay in a great location close to restaurants and Wal-Mart.
“Worst Hotel EVER”
The rooms were dirty. The heater didn't work in our first room so they moved us to another. The TV didn't work in the second room so they moved us to a third. The third was not up to par either but we were so tired we just wanted to sleep at that point. The continental breakfast was terrible. They had a gallon of milk in the fridge and old bagels and donuts. The kitchen was so bad that we didn't want to eat out of it. The pool hadn't been cleaned so it looked terrible and there were dogs barking and people yelling all night. This was the worst hotel I've EVER stayed at!!! I would NOT recommend staying here no matter how close it is to Six Flags!
“Pretty much what you'd expect”
The Expedia rate didn't have the tax included, so I didn't know how much that was going to be, but other than that it was all fine and was still cheap, even with the tax. The hotel was very no frills, as expected, but it seemed clean and in a safe, convenient location right by the entrance to Six Flags. Check in/out was no hassle and they had coffee in the morning. The room was quite small and the TV just had very basic channels, but the air conditioner worked fine, the water pressure in the shower was good, the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Minimal toiletries, just soap and shampoo. Pretty much what you expect from a little roadside hotel that you're just spending a night at on your way somewhere else or to go to Six Flags for a weekend.
“Nice motel”
Nothing fancy but it was clean and the front desk was very nice
“Budget Hotel”
I chose this hotel because of it's convenience to the six flags park and because it was the low price leader at the time. Because of this hotel, my wife has determined that we will never again stay in the lowest priced hotel. The night desk clerk is very friendly and helpful. I liked him very well. The dayshift group is more stony faced. At the provided breakfast, they had two tables available. Every seat was occupied by an employee. They sat there talking with each other in a foreign language after finishing eating and did not make room for us until my son spilled his cereal while trying to eat it standing up. There were not enough outlets to power everthing in the room - we had to choose between the floor lamp and the microwave. To plug anyting in for charging (cellphone, laptop), I had to unplug the TV. If you stay here, plan to bring a power strip. The second night we were there, we were awakened in the middle of the night by someone beating on the neighbors door hard enough to rattle objects in our room. The stranger was also screaming through the door. Apparrently her husband was in the room with another woman (confirmed when the police finally showed up and got them to open the door). This pounding went on for about an hour despite a call I placed to the front desk. To the clerks credit he did come ask the lady to leave. She ignored him. She didn't leave until the police finally showed and arrested her. My next stay will have doors that open onto an inside hallway.
