Quick trip stay

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Staff were nice and attentive, room was big and clean, and parking was easy and fairly safe.
Cons: Pool and hot tube could be warmer in cooler months.
Location: Right near the freeway but not close enough to be a problem. Fast food and some quick eat restaurants are next too or across the street.
Booking, checking-in. and checking out were fast and easy. From the outside it doesn't look as nice (age wise) as the Hampton Inn across the street but it more than makes up for it when you go inside. My family and I were pleasantly pleased by the comfort of the room especially after driving 9 hours on our way down the Cali Coast. So happy we stayed here after seeing Cresent City and Eureka (Nothing bad, just Arcata was a better choice with a family). WiFi was pretty good and the parking lot was safe clean. Pool area was clean but the water was a little too cool to enjoy in April weather. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. The staff were very nice and quick to help you if you had a question. I will be sure to stay here again the next time we travel down this route the coast.

Better than I expected!

The room was nice and clean. I'm familiar with this group of hotels in this area and I was pleasantly surprised. It was definitely better than I expected. I'll certainly choose this hotel on my next trip.

Good for a stopover

Good hotel for a stop over when exploring the California Redwoods. Not much to do in Eureka or Arcata

Its was nice place, breakfast was good fresh waffles. The pool and jacuzzi could use a little cleaning. But overall exceeded all standards.

very pleasant and informative staff

Pros: see above
Cons: less water in OJ
Location: convenient to everything in area.
Two young ladies at desk were very helpful and informative; they wheeled in an extra bed at last minute; the breakfast presented good variety of items.

Nice, clean and comfortable motel

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Went on short 3 day trip and stayed in Best Western Motels all the nights of our trip. This was the best one. Clean, comfortable beds, and close to eateries, beach, university, etc. Will stay there again. Very good breakfast included.

Comfortable beds

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Great beds, large room with mini fridge and microwave , reasonable prices. Tiny bathroom, ceiling paint peeling, wall-unit for shampoo etc... I'd prefer small bottles so you know what you're using and that it's fresh
