Lovely Hotel in the Heart of the Historic DistrictPosted May 6, 2015
The rooms were clean and well-appointed. Every staff member we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The hotel provides complimentary wine, cookies, and hot breakfast. It is located within a block of the harbor and two blocks from the historic shopping district. We loved our short stay there and would recommend it to others.

Top Notch Staff, and Location is Great.Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Staff, location, and archetcture.
When checking in, Giancarlo was outstanding as he made sure the room was to my liking. He made the check-in experience enjoyable. After a long tiring day, he got my stay off to a great start. Everyone at the hotel was gracious. Sure beats the name plate hotels.

Definitely 5 StarPosted Mar 24, 2015 on Hotels
The staff was very warm and friendly from the minute we arrived. They greeted us at the front door, upgraded our room and offered us a free glass of wine prior to dinner. Dining was excellent in their restaurant, followed by an after dinner drink in front of the fireplace. The room felt like we were at home; sparkling clean with all the amenities needed. Great thick towels. Wish we were staying longer.

Beautiful hotel and very friendly and accommodating staff. They automatically upgraded our room upon arrival and kept the bar open late to feed us when we got in at the end of a long day of traveling.

To return or not to return ? That is the question!Posted Feb 24, 2015 on Hotels
Planned impromptu trip on Tuesday am for a Thursday night stay on way to Oregon. Got a conf of prepaid resv Tuesday at 4pm. All seemed ok. Arrived at hotel at about 4 on Thursday but front desk staff seemed confused as they had another unpaid resvn for two nights at a higher rate??! I showed my confirmed one night prepaid resvn at hotel.com rate. Hotel front desk finally found correct resvn and said they cancelled other incorrect one . However they gave me a key to a room on wrong floor which which indeed was occupied by someone else and in room at that time! Embarrassing to say the least. Finally made it into correct room at 5. Not good checkin experience at all. Only later did staff offer to give us a coupon for future stay which my wife is hesitant to actually use. Maybe with time the bad taste will subside but we didn't even stay for the light breakfast they serve in the morning. Otherwise , Room was fine bathroom too Clean neat
