Usual out of town motel experience.

Good price, enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Ate at Toni's, the other side of the freeway.

Nice place to stay

Nice hotel. It is a little bit to far to down town. But I liked the room and over all it was nice to stay there.

Clean, comfortable hotel with with amenities

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: The location, room and site amenities, price.
Cons: Better quality towels. I bring my own.
Location: I go to town on business and the hotel is just a few minutes from downtown. The local shops are great and hiking the redwoods is great.
I stay at this hotel every time I am in Arcata. It's great for business and relaxing after work in the pool or jacuzzi. Convenient location near town, forest, airport or Eureka. And it's one of the few hotels that still maintains designated smoking rooms.

It was a fairly cheap yet substantial hotel. Wasn't dirty or "sketchy", I would stay here again.

Did not even stay.

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: Nothing
When I got to Days Inn there was three other rooms occupied by a bunch of beer drinking youngsters, right away my wife and I decided we didn't want to stay here. We ask for a refund and the staff said no. We just left this place and went across the street to Howard Johnson, which had no partiers and we felt a lot more safer.

Room was nice and the hotel was convenient located. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but everything was fine. Good coffee :)

Very nice hotel in Arcata close to HSU

Great place to stay while up in the area. I had to go to Humoldt University's Admissions Day and I am glad I choose to stay here. If I even need a hotel up here again, I will be staying here.

Good base for Redwoods hiking, value for money

Very close to highway 101, so well accessible. Check in and check out were easy and quick. Room clean, good mattress for good night's sleep . We stayed for 3 nights. Internet access only worked in the mornings. Breakfast was average (cold poached eggs, toast, jelly, fresh cheese, coffee, tea, sweetened serial, porridge). Walls are thin but guests reasonably quiet except for one morning. Pool is indoors, open until 10pm and nice. We'd consider staying there again if we came back in the area.
