“the right place and price”
it was where I needed to be for the price i wanted to pay

“Best economy option”
Sketchy area (as far as I could tell, everything on that road was "sketchy") but the staff wasfriendly and pleasant. Room was very quiet too. Had small refrigerator and microwave, plus tiny continental breakfast...for the same price as Motel 6 across the street w/o those amenities!
“I Would Stay Here Again!”
For the fee and location I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and condition of my room and the hotel. Clearly this is an older building, sandwiched in between 101 N. & 101 S. but my room was quiet and I had a great sleep. The owner/operators were friendly and are doing a great job of maintenance and improvements.
“Eureka Econo Lodge”
A good place to stay for visitors to Redwood Natn'l Park. Low price.
Everything would have been better if the bed had not been so uncomfortable.
“Won't go back”
There are better hotels in the area for just a few bucks more.
“Not really overwhealming...”
Personal is unfriendly and seems to be disturbed by helping the guest, the "continental Breakfast" is just a cinnamon roll and coffee in the tiny tiny office. And you would not even get informed about the "breakfast". Neither the personel nor the information broschure on the TV said anything about it. I just found it by chance when I tried to check out. Not all of the lighting worked in the room. For example the main switch had no effect, so that you have to get carefully into the room to find any other working lamp in the dark. The info on the TV was more a commercial than helpful. All in all I stayed in better hotels for that price.
“You get what you pay for”
My first impression was not very encouraging when I read the sign at check-in that stated "There will be no refunds if you remain in your room for more than 10 minutes". Another unique feature was the two locations for water knobs in the bathtub. One location had handles that worked, the other location had no handles and was apparently for decorative purposes only. The traffic noise was extremely loud and disrupted our sleep throughout the night.
I found an old reciept on the floor. The heater didn't work and when we called the front desk they just hung up on us. It was 40 degrees out. The room sounded like the hwy was going through it rather than next to it. There must be little to no insulation in the building. On a good note the room was spacious and had a full size kitchen but we only spent 1 night and didnt get to use it. The hotel itself looked rundown and not asthetically pleasing.
