“Not impressed”
Hotel is old - needs updating
“Get in, Get out, Hopefully no neighbors.”
This hotel is only good for one thing: a cheap, quick place to stay with all the BARE necessities. The staff was very courteous and helpful, but the hotel itself is very outdated. The room, while it appeared to be clean, had some odors and looked old enough that I didn't feel like it was clean. The bathroom amenities are also very dated, with a noisy shower head inside a 1960s stand-up shower cubicle. Also, there's no air circulation in the rooms. No fan, no air conditioning, and the heat is via radiator. If you want fresh air, you have to sacrifice some privacy and open a window. On the topic of privacy, you won't get any here. The walls are so thin you can hear people in the next room speaking casually, their TV, and their toilet flush in the middle of the night. You get what you pay for, they say, but I've definitely received three times the hotel at the same price on previous occasions. I can barely recommend this hotel unless you're willing to accept these serious shortfalls.
“Clean, cheap”
The room was clean and cheap. Walls thin. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not much else to say.
“not impressed”
It was a small room, bathroom and shower was very small. Overall location was old and felt a little dingy...more like a motel 6.
“not impressed cheap hotel outdated”
Room was very out dated. Shower door was broke. The toliet squealed for 5mins after you flushed. Would not stay there again.
“Not impressed”
The condition and maintenance of the hotel needs some serious upgrading. The hostess is very nice and helpful..
“Ok”
Somewhat curious and/or suspicious front desk staff, thin towels, bathrooms a little dirty, a little stale smelling. You get what you pay for, I guess. :)
“Cheap...that's about it.”
Overall, I would give my experience a 2.5. For what I needed (which was a place to stay for one night that accepted dogs), the room served it's purpose. And I liked the convenience of being close to downtown. However, the room decor, while clean as can be expected, is extremely outdated and not terribly comfortable. I also recommend anyone staying avoid in the last room on the bottom floor. The windows face out on the the back alley, opposing a restaurant dumpster and are also right at ground level. We didn't feel comfortable leaving them open and, unfortunately, there is no AC so the room got very stuffy.
“Needs improvement”
Had to switch rooms because it was in such a poor condition. Nonsmoking room smelled like a smoking room. Owner was nice enough to accommodate us to a better room for no extra charge. Free continental breakfast was pathtic. Swimming pool is very very small. This is a very old travelodge.
“noisy”
dirty sheets and paper-thin walls. Don't sleep in a lower level room.
