Close to Six Flags

Waste of money

Six Flags was our destination. We were debating on staying here because we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel but we didn't want to be driving in traffic for forever. We decided to stay and when we walked into the lobby it was gorgeous! The lady at the desk was super nice. When we got to our room I was extremely disappointed. My thoughts were "I paid this much money for this!?" These rooms need renovatied! No microwave or fridge. Bathroom was small and plain. Breakfast was decent. Overall this hotel is not worth the money. I'd much rather tackle traffic and save money on a hotel.

Great Place to stay.

Pros: Accessibility to six flags
Cons: The towels were a bit rough. I am all for conserving water and resources, but they could have used a bit more softener in the laundry.
Location: The shuttle to six flags was a great plus. The driver was a delight to speak to.
Check in and out were amazingly quick and easy. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but completely worth the prices yo will pay. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Karen and the other wait staff made our dinning experience one of the best we had in town.

Short getaway

Cons: Our TV remote didn't work. The sliding door was very hard to get opened and closed--almost impossible!
We were happy to have a short spring getaway with the nice pool and hot tub.

Hairs all over tub

Maid sevice would be my main complaint bathtub had a bunch if pubic hair in the bottom I had to rinse it out. That's gross!! Drain very slow so probably wasn't rinsed out after drained.

Fun atmosphere. But booking a "poolside" room might be misleading.

An affordable and fun atmosphere to spend a night or two with your family, kids had lots to do including video games (that cost money) and other activities (that were FREE). Play Dome was warm and fun place to hang out at tables. Only bummer was we intentionally booked a "poolside room" and we were placed on a floor above pool level, with a significant walk to stairs to enter the pool area. So even though we could slide open our patio door and see the pool, it was rather inconvenient to truck in and out of room (to use bathroom, snacks, towel/changing, etc.) for having a so-called "poolside" room.

Thank you for staying with us and for providing us your feedback. We are pleased you had a good time while you were here. You are correct, we don't really have poolside rooms but have pool view rooms. We are built on a hill and our pool is sort of at floor 1.5 level. Therefore floor 1 slightly below, floor two slightly above and the third floor off course overlooks. All of the pool view rooms have a sliding door. Again, thank you for your feedback and we apologize the room location wasn't what you expected.

Master key

Cons: Security
During my stay on 1/11/15 an employee left her office open and the master key was stolen. My friend whom I was with had her purse stolen. Our entire night was ruined due to having to make a police report, canceling all of her credit cards etc. We were unable to enjoy the pool in which we took our kids to for a night out. The carelessness of staff led to this unfortunate situation.
