Close to six flags of st louis

Pros: The staff that I met were friendly and answered my questions.
Cons: The mattress needs to be replaced. It was so soft in the middle that it gave me a back ache and I had to sleep cross ways at the head of the bed.
I choose this location for the price and it was within walking distance to Six Flags. The shuttle was wonderful. The driver was friendly and I didn't have to wait long for a pickup.

Family reunion...the hotel offered great entertainment for the kids and the adults had fun. Also shuttle to 6 flags made it all worth the trip

Close to six flags but run down hotel

Pros: Very close to six flags and the shuttle was great
Cons: Maintenance and cleaning of rooms...seems like there is too many for this hotel to keep up with. Kinda disappointing-rooms need updating too
Location: Six flags, many places to eat,
We had our toilet leak all over the bathroom-they did fix it but it delayed our day trip to six flags. then we had to ask them to clean the floor after which they should have done anyway. We had a 10 month old in the room who crawls around the floors. She had dirty knees after crawling for five minutes on carpet because they were in such need of a shampoo.

Six Flags Holiday Inn Stay

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. the bed was really nice
Cons: there was a sound, a really low hum that sounded like a pump or something. Like a low bass guitar sound, it was pretty constant.
Location: Six Flags and McDonalds were both really close.
We loved the Shuttle service to the park. Each time we were ready to leave the hotel or the park, the driver was there. It was great!

Great to know you enjoyed the shuttle to Six Flags theme park. Saved a few dollars on parking there too! Nice to know the service was prompt and ready to go. Pretty much just a continuous cycle back and forth.

Waste of money

Six Flags was our destination. We were debating on staying here because we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel but we didn't want to be driving in traffic for forever. We decided to stay and when we walked into the lobby it was gorgeous! The lady at the desk was super nice. When we got to our room I was extremely disappointed. My thoughts were "I paid this much money for this!?" These rooms need renovatied! No microwave or fridge. Bathroom was small and plain. Breakfast was decent. Overall this hotel is not worth the money. I'd much rather tackle traffic and save money on a hotel.

One of our best hotels ever

Our second stay at this hotel. Pool area is great for kids with games, pool table, shuffleboard. Table to picnic pool side was a plus Restaurant breakfast buffet is really good, the grounds are very pretty and the history there is fascinating. All staff was friendly and seemed happy at their job...A welcome change for a seasoned traveler. Highly recommend.
