“I'd go back”

I've stayed at four of the competitors in the immediate neighborhood. The Howard Johnson Express is the one I would choose to go back to. The motel provided everything I had expected, a clean comfortable room, hotel service that got the job done, and a reasonable feeling of being safe which isn't the case at some of the motels in the neighborhood.

“Fine for what we needed. The jacuzzi was nice,”

It was ok. Thin walls, lumpy beds but we weren;t looking for luxury. Everything worked, it was clean, everyone was nice. If I needed to go back I would.

Nice place. Room was comfortable, had no issues. Be warned second floor you have to use stairs, no elevator. There is a hundred dollar deposit and they will inspect your room before you get it back, so if you plan on smoking indoors stay somewhere else.

Man at front desk was very knowlegable about area attractions and history. Room was comfortable and good price.

“Okay for the price”

The hotel was what you would expect for the price paid. Overall things are a bit worn. The room had a new flat screen that looked out of place with the old furniture and decor.The small fitness room has a treadmill, stationary bike and an old three position weight machine. The pool and hot tub were very good; water was clean and temps were good. The breakfast that was included was adequate. The hotel is priced appropriately for the quality of the property.

“Big Mistake”

I was very dissatisfied with my stay at this hotel. The service was rude. I had to ask for things several times. They tried to put me in a room that was having construction done on the door at the time. The breakfast was stale. I won't be staying at another one of these hotels again.

“Just a room to crash in.”

Basic, basic, basic. You won't die but this place is badly in need of a renovation. Breakfast was nothing.

“Will not come back to this”

Door is broken, staff is not friendly at all. I will never go back to this hotel again for the price I paid and quality I would expected.
