“Quiet, comfortable, and tasty breakfast.”

This was a great place to stay, close to the freeway, but still quiet because it was just out of town. A great night's sleep, comfortable bed. The breakfast offered waffles, boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, etc. so you could have something different each day. I felt safe there, unlike a few places we drove past. Even the locals told us to skip Eureka, which was good advice.

Very clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and professional and the continental breakfast was great! I would definaltey recommend this hotel and stay there again.

“Good place to stay in Arcata”

We arrived a day early and the front desk quickly rearranged our room so we would not have to change rooms later. Everyone was friendly. The room was clean, bed comfy and it was quiet. The room was bigger than I expected. It even had a recliner. Nice to have a fridge and microwave in the rooms. Will stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel and plan on coming back there in May. The convience of the hotel to the air port was great.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Very close to gas station, grocery store and the University. Will definitely stay there again!

Perfect room for my husband and I. The bed and pillows were amazing we slept great!! Heated pool was a plus! Free breakfast was good.

“Good, economical choice”

This is a very good, economical hotel. It is located right off 101, so is easy to find, but is not noisy. It's about 5-10 minutes from downtown Arcata and the Humbolt campus.

“Lovely area”

Hotel was located right off of the main highway and very easy to find. Beautiful setting. Hotel staff was helpful in recommending a place to eat (nearby downtown Arcata) and suggested a perfect walking route. Breakfast was more than expected. Nice place and would definitely come again.

“A nice, convenient place to stay”

I liked this hotel more than others that I have stayed at recently. Why? While it seems to be more common for hotels to accommodate pets, most make you stay in a smelly smoking room for the privilege. It was a pleasant surprise to have a non-smoking pet room! Since I usually travel with a pet, it is a problem eating out. No restaurant allows pets, and fast food becomes tiresome. The hotel room helped there too. It had a microwave oven that I used to heat some food bought at a local Target store (in nearby Eureka). The room came with all of the standard amenities: Coffee maker, safe, a whole bunch of pillows. How could it have been better? I don't know. When I travel, I usually just want a place to crash. A large flat-screen TV would have been great, but unrealistic. The TV that was there was just fine. There were other amenities that I did not take advantage of (workout room, continental breakfast). In short, this place seems to have all bases covered, and with a couple of nice touches added. Once again, it was great to have a non-smoking pet room!
