Will Stay AgainPosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was great having a suite instead of both beds in one room. The continental breakfast was very good too! Scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, sweet rolls, boiled eggs, yogurt, cold/hot cereal, juice, coffee, tea. The only things I didn't like were the bottom sheet didn't fit the bed well and kept coming off, and the coffee maker and cups were set up in the bathroom. Not cool. I moved them out to the table. Otherwise very clean and quiet.

The manager was very helpful, and tried very hard to insure our comfort. The staff was friendly. The shower tended to turn cold or hot randomly. The hotel was in good condition and the rooms were clean.

visiting familyPosted Aug 23, 2013
This hotel met all our needs during this visit. The breakfast choices were more than adequate. The staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. Our room was neat, clean and well cared for. The parking lot was alyays very full. We has to park in back lot some. We were approached by "homeless person" while parking there and that made ua a little nervous.

Easy access to EurekaPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Not bad, not great. The rooms were fine. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was fine with eggs, sausage, cereal, juice /milk / coffee, toast, sweat rolls. My only complaint was the noise. Walls seemed thinner than most rooms, or maybe the neighborhood was just louder. The room was warm and when the outside temp is 60 it was strange. Normally I would think there is no need for AC with the Eureka temps, but opening the windows was the only option and this introduced a fair amount of noise.

Try Best Western InsteadPosted Jul 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room smelled bad and the neighborhood wasn't great. The Best Western at the other end of town next to Marie Calendars looked much nicer. I would not stay here again. The only saving grace was that our 9-yr old daughter now has something to contrast the typically nicer rooms we stay in with. Hopefully it gives her some appreciation.

Decent hotelPosted Jul 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our hotel had comfortable beds, but there were stains on the bedspread and carpet and the room overall was a bit dated for the price we paid. It had a microwave but no refrigerator. The breakfast was nice with a few hot foods. It was a good hotel for a quick evening stay.
Not tto GoodPosted Jul 23, 2013
Pros: Not much
Cons: Most everythig
Location: Not good
Mold on shower curtain. Towels had brown marks on them. Had to go to office to get light bulb that worked. Not in a great part of town. Noisey parking lot.

OK in a pinchPosted May 21, 2013
Many of the amenities don't work (e.g. hair dryers barely heat; frig barely cools). Even essentials are falling apart (e.g. toilet needed to be flushed manually, door locks jammed)
