Relaxing B&B

Posted Aug 4, 2013
Pros: Great food, friendly owners, and good location.
Cons: Dampness in the room.
This is a nice place to stay: the owners are pleasant and friendly, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfasts are delicious. I stayed in the Carriage house. It has its own deck, lots of privacy, and an oversized jacuzzi tub. The only issue I had with room was that it was somewhat damp, but it had been raing and was also pretty humid, so that may have been the problem. Otherwise it was great. I would stay here again althought I might try another room.

We loved it!

Cute and peaceful place to stay. Even though it is a older house everything was very clean and worked. We were greeted with a smile and short informative tour. The breakfast was delicious!! Even made me gluten free pancakes and muffins! Richard and Jan are so sweet and made our trip extra comfortable. Can't wait to go back!

Step high at night!

Posted Apr 21, 2013
Pros: The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept on since leaving our home.
Cons: The least favorite thing about this hotel was the steep stairs leading to our bedroom on the second floor.
Location: We had difficulty finding the hotel.
The bathroom floor on the second floor was raised from the floor in the bedroom and caused some difficulty in remembering to step up during the night.

Great pet friendly bed & breakfast.

Pros: The deer wandering in the yards.
Cons: Too much food for breakfast.
Location: Lovely old house with picket fences on a small town street.
The pet friendly room we stayed in was very comfortable and had ample room for our two dogs to exercise and do their business outside. Also, the gourmet breakfasts were absolutely delish!

Romantic, good location, great hospitality

Pros: Fireplace! It was warm, romantic, and well kept. The 3 course breakfast was also a big highlight
Cons: Having to go home!
Location: Away from the shops and downtown area, but in the historic district were most of the B&B's are. Right on a main road and along the trolley path.
My husband and I were delighted at 5 Ojo Inn! We stayed in the Willow Cottage, which was beautifully decorated just like the picture, the bathroom was spotless, and the fireplace kept us nice and cozy. The Jacuzzi tub was a bit smaller around than other places we have stayed at in ES, but was very deep and still made for some nice soaking. The TV in the room was an older model, but that didn't bother us at all - we were there for the sites, not the TV! The room had a mini fridge, nice coffee maker, and some complimentary goodies. Breakfast was definately worth waking up for! We really enjoyed sitting with the other tennants and chatting with Jan and Richard while we ate. The whole experience was like staying with family - wealthy, accomodating, and clean family, that is! Once we stopped listening to our GPS, the location was easy to find and manuever through.
