Room needed better cleaning and lights to all work

Posted Aug 17, 2012 on Hotels.com
I notified the front desk the second day of my stay that the lights on the wall between the beds weren't working. This made it difficult to have enough light to do much in the evenings like read in bed. all the other working lights were on the opposite wall. Also the room had at least 2 inches of dust on the carpet at the wall. I mentioned this to the front desk person when I checked out. there is no reason why the perimeter of the room cannot get a good cleaning every so often, Doesn't look like it's been done for years.

First we asked to be moved from the back side of the motel. Location was not the greatest. Television remote did not work. Television went off on its on in middle of program. Room has mold, probably from air conditioner. Lamp doesn't work right. Bed not the greatest. It had a good breakfast.

Nice Please to Visit but Skip the Free Breakfast

Posted Aug 1, 2012
Pros: Clean room, A/C worked great, nice indoor pool/spa, early check-in no problem
Cons: Minimal seating for "free" breakfast, rowdy middle-schoolers took over pool
The hotel advertised and provided a "free hot breakfast". The food was fine, but they were slow to replenish depleted items and had a miniscule seating area, forcing everyone to gobble their food so that someone else could have the seat. People were going out into the lobby and balancing foam plates on their laps or taking their food back to their rooms. Not exactly a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The second day, we went out for breakfast. If you're going to advertise and make a big deal out of a "free" breakfast, for crying out loud invest in some remodeling to that folks can find a place to sit and enjoy it. Otherwise, the room was clean/comfortable, the pool area was pristine, the air conditioning worked great, as it was 106 degrees the days we were there, and the staff was competent and pleasant. They just need more seating for breakfast.

Good breakfast & helpful pleasant staff

It worked out great to get to and from the passion play. We had some specific needs and the staff were pleasant and eager to take care of us. The movie in the pool is a great idea for kids. If you do not want noise from the pool do not take an inside corridor room, it is more like an atrium so the sound bounces around. The breakfast was good too and they kept it resupplied timely.

Great hotel for relaxation and sights

Posted Jul 4, 2012
In the pool area at 8.00 pm, they played a movie on the projector screen while you swim or relax in the lawn chairs. The pool got to about 75 to 85 degress and the hot tub got to 95 or felt like 100 degress. They had all 50 flags of the united states hanging in the pool area. They had a glass elevator and a good view of the forest in the pool area. Their breakfast was fresh which contained eggs, sasuage, biscuits, gravy, bread, bagels, and muffins. They had milk for the ceral and yogurt in the freezer with the milk.

You need to spray the room to make it smell better. It had a little musty smell.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Posted May 31, 2012 on Hotels.com
I chose this place because the pool and the hot tub was indoors, another reason was the movie out in the pool area also! When we got there the pool was so cloudy, and the hot tub was milky and when you turned on the jets it foamed up to the point you could see a cloud! The hot tub would heat up to an unbelievable degree! When we asked about all the problems the staff gave us a ridiculous excuse that absolutely made no sense! The area around the area around the pool was horrible! We asked about the movie that was gonna be shown for the night we were told that it was broke also!! I was so mad! I could have stayed at a cheaper place! But because of the extra's that they offered we chose the Quality Inn! I will never stay there again!! I'm serious!! Do not waste your money! Go somewhere else!!

dont try to check in early

Posted May 29, 2012 on Hotels.com
We arrived about 1:00 in the afternoon on a motorcycle. We were told check in was at 3:00 and we would have to come back, other guest were also ariving at the same time and was told the same thing. we had no where to put our bags . we drove around for awhile and ended back at the hotel around 2:30 , and were still told check in is at 3:00 and were turned away again. we just waited in the lobby. The staff was really rude. the hotel has no vending at all. and the ice machine dosnt work. we wont be staying there again.
