If you have no where else to stay in Evanston... stay at this Super 8. I felt unsafe at the hotel and the room was pretty dirty. The end of the bed had given up and was slanted towards the floor. The pillows were something I would give to my dog to sleep on. I didn't find any bedbugs upon inspection but I did start to itch immediately after I laid down. There was a guy three doors down having a huge party where 10 people stayed the night. At least he was kind enough to invite us in. No thanks. We brought our pets and they put us in a second floor room with no elevator. My degenerate dog was not happy. Spend an extra $20 and stay somewhere that you will feel safe at.

Not bad for the pricePosted Apr 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nothing fancy but good enough to stay overnight if your budget is small.

Hotel needs a major renovation, very poor exterior presentation. Linen very threadbare.

Not a place I would stay again.Posted Jan 21, 2012
We were in two separate rooms for the two days. They seemed less accommodating because we booked one night with Expedia. We had to miss out on our plans for the second day, waiting until after 1:00 to switch our things to the other room. The "breakfast" is a joke, and communication with the owners/managers/staff is difficult at best.

Disappointed in EvanstonPosted Jun 26, 2011 on Hotels.com
Our room was not quite as clean as we felt it should be. There was a filthy wash rag hanging on the shower rail and the wood work in the bathroom was beat up. The grout was out of some of the floor tiles and coming out of others. Rust stains on the tub. The parking lot was filthy and you walked dirt into the room each trip. Breakfast was real poor. The price was over the top when we compared other locations after arriving. No more Super 8 Hotels for us! Thanks for asking. The ladies that did the cleaning were doing the best they could and were friendly. The guy behind the desk wasn't friendly. Wish we could offer a better report.

The "Not-So-Super" 8Posted May 6, 2010
While I did not expect 4 star, or even 3 star amenities, this Super 8 was a huge disappointment. The desk clerks either spoke very little English, or were too busy playing on their lap-top to be truly helpful. The Continental Breakfast was poorly stocked and was not restocked as food was used, and there was no computer for the guests. They were not helpful with directions as well. I will never stay there again!
