My stay was every pleasant experience. I was traveling with my adult daughter, we did not know how far we would drive that day so when we decieded to stop for the night we looked at options on the IPhone and chose the Clarion. We were glad we chose them. The facility was clean comfortable and reasonably priced.

Pros: The helpful and friendly staff
Cons: no complaints
Location: Was visiting my elderly Mother and had an early flight to MN so I stayed at the motel for convenience.
Everyone was extremely helpful, room clean and well laid out

Good northside locationPosted Jul 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
After having to have the restaurant hostess assist the desk clerk with checking in, I was able to locate my room and settle in easily. The parking area is well lit and adequate, and there is easy access from Highway 41 as well as Lynch Road. The room was very clean, updated and welcoming. I was able to rest well overnight, and did not hear very much street noise or hallway traffic. The pool area is well appointed, with a hot tub available and banquet space. I cannot, however, recommend dining in the Steeplechase restaurant on site. My friend and I ordered their roasted pork chop with rosemary Dijon glaze. After a 40-minute wait (we were one of 3 tables occupied at supper, along with 2 bar patrons), we were served a dry pork chop with a drizzle of what appeared to be brown mustard on top and a piece of rosemary skewered through the chop. My recommendation for supper would be Acropolis on Green River Road. There is a Denny's just across Lynch Road from this hotel; I got great service there the next morning for breakfast, and made my meeting with plenty of extra time. There is also a gas station/convenience store next to the hotel.

Friendly and accommodating staff, decent roomsPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was built in an earlier era, which you might or might not find charming. Decent rooms for the price.

A shame!Posted Jun 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a run down, poorly run, outdated hotel. The front office and housekeeping staff are pitiful. The free breakfast is based on a tier system depending on the room you purchase. None of this is explained on the website or once you arrive. The room keys failed to work consistently by us and many of the other hotel guests. All the doors except the front are locked 24 hours, which is telling of the neighborhood the hotel is in and makes it highly inconvenient if the key card doesn't work. Also, beware, there are no elevators near the rooms! You must take the stairs. Housekeeping failed to leave toiletries, coffee, tea or clean glasses any of the 3 nights we stayed. One plus is the cleanliness of the room as it was pretty much spotless. The cost of this hotel is insane considering all the nice hotels in Evansville with comparable prices.

Easy to navigate to places I neededPosted Jun 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The stay met all of my expectations for a hotel of that type. There was a little confusion concerning my status, and associated perks. not as accommodating as the neighboring Drury Inn. They offered free breakfast, and dinner everyday for their convention guests. I will have to try to get a room their next year. All in all , a good experience.

The pool and hot tub here are awesome. We live fairly close to Evansville and came just for one night... spring break get-away to swim and relax. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice. The bathrooms are SMALL, be prepared!

We were only there for one night but the hotel was very good from what we saw. They have a really nice pool and an exercise room and the attached restaurant was a really nice establishment. It is a little older so there were some signs of wear here and there. What really sets this hotel apart from many others that I have visited is that they have full flow shower nozzles so you can get a good shower in a shorter amount of time. Also the rooms are fairly quiet. You cannot hear when another room has their shower running or flushes the toilet. The automatic door closers are fairly new and powerful and you could hear doors slamming shut quite a bit.
