“Clean and comfortable”
We were very impressed with the hotel, considering it was moderately priced (this was the hotel we received with the "deep discount/unpublished hotel" deal).
The desk staff was very friendly, the lobby was well-kept, the room was clean and comfortable (standard size for a hotel, A/C worked well, plenty of clean towels, linens, and pillows available). The hotel, as most in the area, was over-crowded due to an event in the area. Nonetheless, we heard very little to no noise in the hallways or surrounding rooms during our two-night stay (our room was on the second of three floors, so we were surrounded by rooms). Our TV remote was not working well, and the desk staff was quick to provide replacement batteries when we mentioned it (which resolved our issue).
Our only two complaints, which are truly mild, was that there was no refrigerator in our room, and the staff member manning the breakfast area the first morning was rather rude to me and others (which I took to be a personality issue - she seemed more concerned with keeping the area stocked and spotless than to be courteous to guests who may accidentally drop crumbs and such, or get in her way as she attempted to clean). However, the area was indeed well kept, and the breakfast selection was impressive for what I would have expected from other hotel's "continental breakfasts".
All in all, we were impressed with the accommodations, and would recommend this hotel, especially for a long weekend or short-term stays.
