“Not what it use to be”

We did not know that this hotel had become an extended stay hotel. We were told when we checked in followed by "we don't do anything to your room except bring you clean towels." We had to ask for ice because the ice machine was locked up, we had to ask for toilet paper and the mattress was to have been a queen but it was more like a full in very poor condition. The sheets were very thread bare and we had to examine them to make sure it was not an oily stain. The room was clean but in extreme need of updating. The staff was friendly. Breakfast bar was included in price; not for us but was included.

“Average”

Paid for a queen room had a double bed. Decor is "totally 80's". Room was clean yet had 2-stained towels.

“Peaceful and Clean!”

The hostess at the front desk is incredibly nice and she has been there awhile. The breakfast tasted great. The room was bigger than I had imagined and you have plenty of room! You even get a huge desk that wraps around and has plenty of workspace. I loved this hotel and it is now my favorite. It was clean, the maids kept up with things and we really enjoyed our time and will be back!!

We traveled during Christmas and found a lovely place to staywhile visiting our daughter. They were so nice to come and get us after we got lost and turned around in the city. Very nice place and people! Highly recommended!

“Well appointed.”

I was impressed to find a room that was as advertised. It had a sleeper sofa and office desk, recliner, kitchenette and all the kitchen gadgets that would make a long term stay a cinch. The bed could have been a little more comfortable...but that's a point of personal taste. I prefer overly soft beds. If I had been on business, it would have been a real treat to have the little perks. The overall appearance of the place was great...not the most modern, but things appear to have been redone quite well. Lots of attention to things for the business traveler. Nice bright hallways and a very quiet facility. I wouldn't hesitate a minute to stay there again. All the services were well maintained. Excellent breakfast area and guest laundry.

“Worst hotel”

This was the worst hotel we ever stay in. It was in a bad location too. It was so obvious upon arrival that this was not a good hotel, we noticed there were hardly any cars in the hotel parking lot. We booked and paid online for two nights but it was so horrible we only stay one night and left to go to different hotel. The front desk receptionist treated us like criminal, no hello or anything friendly at all. We didn't feel welcome. Would not stay there if it was free.

“Price for what you get was good deal-hotel needs updating”

Hotel is adequate; kicthenette is very nice for weekly stays. Needs some updates, but overall met my needs. TV is in an odd place above kitchen counter, and I would have liked the room cleaned more often. However, Staff supplied what I needed when asked. Bring your own dish/dishwasher soap. Good deal for the price, especially with the hot breakfast bar.

“Average hotel”

The Evansville Lees Inn suited my purposes for my business trip and the location was very good for me. A good selection of dining locations very close by. Rooms could use some updating as the carpet was worn and stained; bed was not the most comfortable. The pleasant surprise was the full kitchen in the room. I was not expecting that. I was only there for one night and had no use for this amenity but it would be nice for longer stays. The only reason I selected this hotel was due to the great price on Expedia. Not sure if I would stay again, mainly because I really desire a comfortable bed when I'm traveling for work. However, the hotel and the staff were adequate for the one night I was there.
