“Pleasant accomodations.”

Front desk clerk was extremely friendly and quick to answer every question. Shower was hot and had good pressure, and A/C was crisp and fast to cool the room. Didn't eat in the hotel, but is near many restaurants and about 10 minutes from a huge mall in Evansville, IN. Huge pool and nicely equipped workout room. Would definitely stay again, although I would recommend all common spaces of the hotel should go smoke-free.

The hotel was nice, the room wasnt exceptionaly clean, looking behind the nighstand and along the baseboards of the beds I could see they dont vacum very well. The clerk was helpfull and friendly. well mannered. The breakfast wasnt good, I could tell it was old leftovers. Lobby was very nice. The restaraunt and bar were very nice and convientent. Overall it was a nice hotel for the location. I will stay there next time I go wich is frequent.

“Outstanding service”

I arrived later in the evening and was only there 1 night. Nancy was wonderful at check-in and even called a few minutes after settling into the room to check and see if everything was clean and up to our standards. We asked for a couple of extra pillows and said we would be down shortly to get them, but before one of us could make it down there she was at our door witn them. She was so very sweet. The bed was not the most comfortable and the comforter was definitely older, but the pillows were the best.....if only we lined the bed with them. Breakfast was ok, but the donuts were amazing. They had cereal, bagels, biscuits and gravy, toast and waffles you could warm up in a toaster. Nothing spectacular, but satisfactory.

“Average”

The hotel was pretty clean, however, the pillows on the bed were very very thin. The service was fine and appropriate. The "Giggles" restaurant that was attached needed some help. No one was in there. We decided to go for a breakfast and the service was very very slow, however, the prices and the meal were very reasonable. The service was also very polite and went out of her way to help us. If you were in a hurry, this was not the place for you.

“Going Home”

Overall the Hotel was ok for what we needed to use it for. I know the age of the Hotel because I grew up in Henderson and can remember when it was built. The only major problem the wife and I had was that we are both reformed smokers ,9 years smoke free. As soon as we checked in and drove around to the proper entrance, the hallways reaked of smoke to the point that it was nauseous.Even the non smoking room smelled of smokea litle bit. We went out and bought a can of oust in order to remain in the room.

“Needs updated”

Needs updated, hotel was clean but needs updated very badly. Other hotels in this price range have down pillows and comforters, plush towels, etc.

“Good Location”

Hotel Maintenance was sub-standard, but the location was good. Close proximity to the city park and jogging trails.

“Poor management”

Upon arrival the employee did not know how to access an Expedia account which had already been charged to my credit card. This I write off to management not thoroughly orienting the employee who had been there less than a month. Secondly the website said that there was a hot tub on grounds...not! The general condition of the grounds was unkempt and in serious need of remodeling. There were cig butts scattered across the grounds, trash in the parking lot and the landscaping needed serious attention. However there was a nice redneck bar attached which had a pretty good band and the price of beer was great, so while I will not return there was an upside!

“Won't stay here again”

Not impressed with this hotel. The room felt like it wasn't really clean. The major problem arose, though because there were kids running up and down the hall until 2:30 in the morning, slamming doors and being very loud. When I called the front desk to complain, I was told "we cain't do nothing about it." The "continental breakfast" also leaves alot to be deisred.
