“It's A Super8”
We got what we paid for with this hotel. The complimentary breakfast choices were what I was expecting (bagels, muffins, apples, coffee or waffles you can make yourself). The room had a strange funk but it wasn't unbearable. The biggest let down was that we thought the hotel was actually IN Evansville. I didn't verify this, and found out the hard way that's it's actually about a 20 minute drive north of the University of Evansville. There was a Denny's right next door that offered a 15% discount if we mentioned that we were staying at the super8. There was also a McDonald's right there and a gas station down the road.
“Not the best night of sleep I've had!”
Service was friendly and everyone was nice and helpful. Continental B-fast...sad, but at least McD's was next door. The bed was horrible! Must have been at least 15 yrs. old! Felt the springs and the edge of the bed sloped downwards. We were there for 3 nights and I was exhausted from lack of sleep when we left to go home. The hotel desperately needs an overhaul. The halls stunk from stale and current cigarette smoke - I had to hold my breath in some sections. The carpet was also fiflthy and just needed to be relpaced. Guess that's what we get for shopping on a budget!
“Great Stop!! Highly recommend!”
After a long and hot drive,the hotel was easy to find, well-lit parking, and well kept. I walked in, gave my name and the desk clerk said, "Welcome, we've been waiting for you. Here is your key, do you need extra towels?" We were in the room within 5 minutes! It was clean, roomy and quiet. The staff were extra helpful and pleasant. The breakfast area was well stocked and kept very clean throughout the entire serving time. I would definitely plan on stopping here if going this way again!!! Highly recommend it!

Bed was much firmer than I like. Also no electrical outlets readily available for computer but wireless worked okay. Easy access to interstate. McDonalds close.
