Evergreen Hotel has been our go-to hotel when we visit our son in Monroe. The cleanliness and hospitality quality is outstanding! Friendly staff always ready to help. We stayed there over Easter weekend and Monday morning (9:30) we heard a fire alarm go off. The staff was quick to apologize and explain the construction crew was sanding and accidentally set off the alarm. We will continue to stay with Evergreen! Thanks!!

Hi Diane,Thanks for taking time to give us a review. I do apologize about the pool and hot tub being closed. I verified with Expedia that it does state on the website that we are closed. It shouldn't be too much longer, and will be so nice when completed. Please come see us again.

Terrible experience. Room was so smelly. They offered an air freshener. Pool was closed without a note of it. And the room was so dirty! Do yourself a favor and stay at the cheaper best western across the parking lot!

Thank You for the review Megan. When I checked you out this morning, you didn't mention anything to me regarding this. When I got this review, I personally went to the room and smelled nothing bad. I also spoke with night agent and there were no complaints. Yes the pool is closed, but it is closed on Expedia site as well as noted at our front desk. I checked myself and also called Expedia and they verified it is closed on their site, and has been for over a month. Of course there is no good time to close a pool, we decided to do this during our slow period. We are making some great renovations including resurfacing and painting the pool and spa and painting the floors. We are doing this so our guests will have a great area to hangout, as it was getting pretty out of date. It will be quite nice when it is complete.

First the front desk agent checked us into a room that was already occupied by a guest I went down and explain that to her she moved as quickly to a new room. The new room was on a different floor we get off the elevator to the smell and sight of vomit all over the floor we stepped around it went to our room and I went down to the front desk and let her know when we came back from our event 5 hours later being now dried vomit was still on the floor. The room itself was clean other than barely any water pressure coming out of the shower and the toilet seat was extremely loose you had to be careful sitting down or it was going to dump you on the floor

The front desk staff was very lazy, they found it exhausting to unlock the door at night when my husband wanted to go out and check on our vehicle. They looked at him and have a huge loud exhale sound each time. When I wanted change for the vending na home I had the same response from a different clerk. We will never be back…

The hotel staff was fantastic. The room is nice, but shows signs of age. There was a slight cigarette smell in the bathroom.

Everything was great. The bed was comfortable. The room had all amenities in it. The room was big and inviting. Great place for pea e and quite after a day of traveling, airplanes and traffic.

The room I was in had just got its floors cleaned. But they did not let the room air out or dry and I got a damp musky smelling room. But other than that it was a great time. I just opened a window for an hour and all was good.

Had a good experience except hot tub was closed. Small pool as well. Breakfast was ok the staff prepared food and presented was outstanding.
