“It's better than other motels in Monroe”
Room was clean, bed was hard, linens were worn. No blanket on the bed so if you didn't have the heat on you froze. The good news about that was that because the bedding was light, it appeared they washed everything every day...no disgusting bedspread to avoid. Towels were harsh and smelled like industrial detergent. I didn't get replacement toilet paper one day and ran out the next morning. My room was on the train track side and I was woken up multiple times by the trains due to the thin walls. The "breakfast" was limited but OK. They missed my wake up call one morning and I was almost late for my class at the horse show. The guest staff never said good morning or even hello whenever you walked by the front desk. No movies, the quality of picture of the channels was variable but the remote control worked! The lobby was very nice and the motel felt secure. This place is certainly nothing special, however, given the paucity of choices in Monroe, this is the only place I would stay.
