“Would definitely stay again”

The room was spacious and comfortable, very clean. Staff helpful with directions, recommendations for restaurants nearby. Pool and whirlpool tub were clean . The hotel restaurant and bar had extremely limited hours.

There is no fan in the bathroom/shower, the carpet in the hall is filthy and the place smells of body odor.

“Will always stay here when in Seattle area”

This is one of the best hotel values I've ever had--great facility with restaurant, bar, snacks for guests and extremely nice staff. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the desk with free wi-fi and Herman Miller desk chair was great. The grounds were attractive with blooming flowers and the fitness center and indoor pool were very accessible. I highly recommend it!

“Beautiful hotel!”

This was recommended to us by friends who stayed there. It had beautiful flowers growing everywhere.There was a restuarant in it, AND a pantry to purchase items to microwave in your room,or just eat or drink, It also had adjustable beds for comfort. It was quiet and an easy 2 minute walk to the Boeing plant that we toured. We would go there again.

Alderwood Mall had nice stores and a PF Changs and Macaroni Grill .

“Best breakfast buffet in the Seattle region.”

Great waitresses, terrific food, ample table room, food cooked to order was excellent.

Area recommendations

Snoqualmie Falls, Everett (Jetty Island), Mukilteo State Park and Lighthouse, Ivars in Mukilteo, All of these were good for children and adults. There was no unsightly litter or rudeness to tourists.

“It filled the need”

This hotel is in need of a renovation. The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful but the hotel is showing its wear. The back of the remote was missing so tape held in the batteries, unsuccessfully. The lamp in the room was broken, the faucet in the shower was stuck in the luckwarm position, not all amenities were in the room when we arrived. Rugs in the hallway and doorways very scuffed. The hotel looks like it is very tired. The breakfast was very good and the staff responded quickly with the repairs but I was expecting a little more for the price.

Area recommendations

We didn't stay in Mukilteo to take the ferry so staying by the water was not important to us. If you are taking the ferry I would recommened staying at one of the hotels right on the water.

Family-friendly activities

We did the Boeing Everett assembly plant tour. It was a good overview of the operations for assembling the Boeing 747, 767, 777 & 787. One of those things to do and you don't need to do it ever again.

“A good place for business travelers”

This is a good hotel for business travelers, especially those who deal with Boeing, because it is located at the edge of Paine Field, where Boeing has its Everett plant. (Thankfully, jet engine noise was infrequent during the day and nonexistent by late evening.) My room was conveniently located near the exercise room and pool, which are important to me when traveling. The dining area and lobby were also convenient to my room, which was equipped with high-speed internet, a large desk and ergonomic office chair, so I could work in the room. The bathroom is standard but the bed was comfortable. Unless one eats in the hotel grill, which is limited, one must drive to restaurants in nearby Mukilteo and South Everett, but a standard hotel-style breakfast is included in room rates and the bar is open until 10 p.m. The flight museum is just outside the hotel entrance -- a draw for families.

Area recommendations

The hotel is located next to the affluent bedroom community of Mukilteo, and there are no bad neighborhoods. Everett is older, with wide streets on a north/south grid -- and a few houses and commercial buildings that date back to the early mill town days.

Must see

Visitors must see Mukilteo and take a ride on the Washington State Ferry to Whidbey Island if they have time. Also, if the days are clear, look east: From Paine Field you can see the Cascade Mountain Range from Mt. Baker in the North to Mt. Rainier in the South. As you drive along the coastal ridges near Mukilteo, you can look to the Southwest and see the Olympic Mountain Range across Puget Sound.

Shopping

Downtown Everett lost its retail center years ago when the outlying strip malls were built. Everett Mall in South Everett has the standard national chains with big box stores nearby, but five miles north of Everett, the Tulalip Indian Reservation offers both a casino and a large retail outlet mall.

Dining

The Mukilteo/Everett area has some good Northwest seafood, but most area restaurants are of the family chain variety. Anthony's at the Everett Port has the kind of extensive seafood menu not found in most cities, along with a great view of Puget Sound.

“Excellent Hotel”

We've stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn by Paine Field in Everett several times and it is always a good experience. The clerks are helpful and quick, the room is quite comfortable, spacious and clean, and I like the view of the jets on the field. Our stays have been on weekends when the rates are cheaper due to the business travelers preferring weekdays.

“Airplane buffs delight!”

This is an airplane buffs delight. The room had a great view of Paine Field and Boeing's manufacturing plant in Everett. In the morning there was the most amazing sunrise over the Cascade Mountain range. It was breathtaking! The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Defniitely head down to the Mukilteo Ferry area for great food!

Head down to the Mukilteo Ferry area for dinner. My personal favorites is Amici's Italian restaurant, The Diamond Knot for micro-brew pub fare, and both Arnie's and Ivar's have a great seafood offering.
